This upsets me a great deal! My father was a vet, who served , And Trudeau says no money is avaiable, My dad he died ok, and you can give money to a refugee,and shaft my mother who is a widow. Shame on you ! Its true that the refugeess ,get a house,a car , etc, and yet low income Canadians who are on a waitlist get shafted for the low income housing.. We have homeless folks who suffer from Mental illness are seniors on the streets in Calgary alberta,and are waiting for a place to live . In regards to jobs , Canadian employers will hire the refugee over a Canadian because he or she will play the RACE CARD. . CBC wake up! This is the reality of what is happening !.. Folks next election vote TRUDEAU OUT!

I agree. Canadians are not getting jobs. All Canadians of every color. The govt is responsible for this epidemic. Cdn born students cannot get a job at any fast food joints. They are occupied by fake students . Chalo, fresco, no frills, real cdn superstore , Costco, Amazon etc are only hiring Sikh punjabis. so why do we have 10+ immigrants living in a 2 bedroom house? on food stamps driving a new car, free medical, not paying tax. Not Canada per se, but baised on my coworkers even the Indians have Indian fatigue now. Especially with the older skilled Indians workers who have aasemulated into the country and came here the honest way. They're always complaining how it's now so easy to get into the country, with relaxed polices and poor vetting and how these newer influxes do not like to assemulate into their new country, and bring their bad practices over here. And annoyed why are importing non skilled workers when locals are struggling for jobs, describing why we do not need more Uber drivers and mc donalds workers. They're were telling me there's recently been a large influx buying their degrees for like $10k and getting here on skilled visas without thorough checks. because of relaxed policies as a result of our majority of young skilled citizens here leaving the country in record numbers since COVID.

Vet people VERY VERY, STRINGENTLY. Deport criminals, and non tax payers. Go after the GANGS. Jail or deport. Huge numbers of Americans are trying to get in as well. Their democracy has failed. We must save our own country.

As a person living in India, my appeal to the Canadian people is don't let "asylum seekers" from India into your country without proper vetting. Legal migration of skilled labour is one thing you shouldn't be looking out for. They're already westernized. What you need to look out for are those that immigrated illegally. Please deport them, honestly. A lot of these self declared asylum seekers are people who've commited serious crimes here in India and running from the Law.

What is he still doing around? Send the Illegal Immigrants and the ones with expired Visa home so we can get caught up on homes and jobs for our own Legal Citizens. Immigrant here, we got vetted and the condition to get into Canada was that we were WANTED by a employer so desperately that they paid crazy money to get us in. We speak English in public and we did pretty good here. Well until the libs took over and everything goes downhill now for 10 consecutive years. At the beginning, immigrants DID NOT receive citizenship for 10 years. They could NOT be out of Canada for 5 years & were THOROUGHLY vetted, something that changed in 2015 when Trudeau was unfortunately elected!! I don't have any recollection of ever going to a restaurant or hotel/motel and the country that im visiting is covering ALL OF MY LIVING COSTS DURING MY ENTIRE STAY. The vetting of some of these people is very poor. Also, you do have freeloaders that come to Canada, receive all kinds of aid, and take jobs where they are paid under the table. This is equally the fault of their employers and the immigrants.

Canada used to have one of the strictest immigration systems in the world. We need to get back to that system where immigrants were vetted for years before earning citizenship. It's like Trudeau saw what Biden was doing and then said "Hold my White Claw!"

Respect to the indian man who came as an RN and understood the problems with not working hard. He may have a rose-tinted view on Canada being no different than India, which is aproblem in itself, but the mindset is inherently what we want from our newcomers, and not just importing everyone from a hyper-specific area of another country in i.e. India. This is why selective immigration that has been done for years before Trudeau did wonders for this country. Very insightful. The race doesn't matter, the diversity we value is actually lost when you only import anything and don't vet anyone at all, it then becomes simply and factually non-diverse.

This isnt about getting more votes. Follow the money. Someone is paying themselves huge $$$ overseeing billions that are handed out to illegals. If your middle class and loose your job the govt wants to cut you off, but can give free medical, housing, food, clothing, schooling, training. As a citizen you cant get that. Quebecer here who has lived all over the world. Never received or demanded help from any foreign country. Today's youth are very entitled. Give the important sector jobs to Canadians who are being bypassed. Immigration used to be fair and well vetted. Time to stop the woke / Lib rules

Housing and health care for Canadians are out of control, something needs to be done and if this is what it takes then so be it, one of the main reasons is too many immigrants allowed in to the country. Canadian youth born here simply can not find entry level work, I am not anti immigration, I am for limited immigration with better vetting.

One mistake; improper or little to no vetting. Language, criminal records and body language to an extent. I would go as far as introducing a lie detector test.
