What happened in Brampton, and I say this as a brown man whose father immigrated here, is nothing short of criminal. There are so many people in that area who do not belong here, and any politician who takes a majority of them back would have my vote. There’s good and bad in EVERY culture. The guy with the reverse ball cap is white trash but he talks about immigrants. I’d rather have South Asians here that are good people anyday vs him. At least they’ll work for minimum wage vs the homeless druggies who choose to be on the streets.

Only my heritage is Indian (4th generation in Australia - my great grandparents came here) so obviously I present as one. Of course every South Asian person I meet despises FOBs because they're literally the problem for all of this. Lack of assimilation, lack of civic sense, lack of fucking common sense. Of course this makes my blood boil. But what I'm genuinely tired of? The endless discrimination. I've lost count how many people profile me or treat me like garbage until we have a 20 second conversation, they hear my accent and I watch in real-time as their body language and frown disappears. It's like watching racism disappear like a light switch. So let me ask all of you a question - how should people like myself, born and raised here handle this? It doesn't end. Everyday, there's a new comment from a new person, another racial slur, another person throwing a bottle at me from their car as I'm walking, another passerby getting aggro at me for no reason, another form of insanity. How should regular people like myself handle this or deal with this? No trolling.

As an indian, i am seeing this in Australia as well. We are indian immigrants, and i include all from South asia. We are too racist, dont assimilate ansld are self righteous. High time such people are sent back. They are a disgrace to image of Bharat as well.

It's funny how foreigners mostly w8tes will travel to India and purposely go to the worst places to travel (old delhi, varanasi, Calcutta) which is common knowledge not only amongst Indians themselves but amongst travelers globally, just so they can make negative videos for sensation and views and then assume the entire country looks like that. When the fact of the matter is India has beautiful beaches, resorts in the south (kerela goa etc ie tourist areas) beautiful mountains and snowy areas in the north like Shimla, Risikesh in states like himachal pradesh and uttarkhand, theres ther north east which has arunachal pradesh etc. Yet despite common knowledge amongst those who travel to India these vloggers choose to avoid such places for the former just for content and to make videos such as this. Channels like Chris Lewis, Alfonso and Jessica, Daily Max, Van Boys, GallivanterDom, Dunney Travels are much more honest and unbiased with their vlogs on India showing both the good and bad side of the country. Both the beautiful luxurious sides as well as the slums and poverty. Unlike vloggers like this who only show the negative sides of India for the sake of views, content and engagement farming. Positive videos on India never go as viral as the negative ones. The algorithm always pushes negativity over positivity

I live in south Texas and the company I work for is based in Ontario and it is completely run by Indians. All the locations from Canada to Dallas to California to Indiana is run by Indians. They’re kinda retarded but very nice people all in all

it's easier for European immigrants to assimilate because their culture is similiar! if you want to see white folks not assimilating just go to Asia and you'll see white folks who have lived there for 10-15 years and not even speak the local language! They change certain neighborhoods to "expat" neighborhoods with their bars and clubs and all that western garbage! This is not that different! If Indians immigrated to a south Asian country they would have no problem assimilating! All Norh Indians are as same as European. They are not Indians. 1800 years ago they have come to India and and mixed with the origin stole their indian culture and settle there. As a black South African, even we are tired of african foreigners (specifically Nigerians and Zimbabweans). We have a massive Indian population too but they are fine for the most part.
