Oh the IRONY! If you aren't First Nations, you ARE an immigrant. Why don't you actually all make an effort to learn at least a few words in our languages; the ACTUAL languages of Our country 🙄. Canadian here: 10 yrs ago it was rare to hear a Canadian say something derogatory about another ethnicity beyond the basic complaints about the French or Natives. Even that was fairly tame since a lot of Canadians have either French or Indigenous ancestry. I have never heard so much ethnic hostility over the past 5 yrs as people will just openly insult Indians. I have heard professionals say “Never trust an Indian”. clicked on this video hoping for an even sided take instead it seems like this guy has already made up his mind and is actively showing and promoting racist views, i remember growing up in Burnaby BC and Vancouver bc when the chinese/japanese and just asia in general started immigrating to canada. The racists back then whined and cried about a ton of asian shops opening and bad drivers etc. Hell they didn't even like asian only churches they would cry "why do they need their own churches?" while saying their cooking stinks, their shops stink to their face and bitching about just about anything. Now its happening again in Toronto and the racists have moved on from asians and now focus their hate towards the indian community. as a native American all i can say is if you're actively going to bitch about immigrants. This video sounds very racist, I grew up here since 1989. The video is a bit extreme, but there is definitely a lack of assimilation. But the same goes for the native communities, we just put them in the middle of nowhere and killed their kids in schools centuries ago. Canadians let them get addicted to drugs and let their communities crumble. Now when a community shows up with a harder WORK ETHIC than the locals, THERE IS A PROBLEM???? As a Canadian alot of us would gladly accept new immigrants as all of us at one point or another was a immigrant unless ur native but we have a social standard of living since forever and for a while it seemed like immigrants were fine with that but this new generation of immigrants would really love to see our country turn into theirs despite a lot of them seeking asylum or a better life here its ridicules to think anyone who's white is racist when all they wish to see Canada as it used to be with immigrants that respected and valued the countries norms
