This is going to sound super cruel but in American its just as bad, over the last 8 years over 30 family owned businesses or small restaurants have been taken over and bought out by Indian people in my area alone, the food quality dips, quality in general dips, they're rude, they get mad if THEY mess up at you which is super disrespectful. I come from a Hispanic culture do be respectful to other human beings if you enter another person's country. Your laws no longer apply here and people who are foreign seem to think that is not the case. I hate seeing local grocery stores get bought out because nothing feels the same. Its not a community anymore its an infestation of rude, self centered obnoxious foreigners who treat everyone like crap because they're miserable. Many don't last because American's aren't going to go to a place that isn't really local anymore its not the same faces they're used to its a cheap old Indian man who is too lazy to fix anything and gets mad when you order too much and by too much like 4 things....

I think the driving in Canada and the United States has gotten crazy because of the massive amounts of immigrants that are pouring into the countries. I live in a small town in upstate New York and it’s gotten so bad to drive here. It is outrageous. We also have a extremely diverse community. Looks like a Third World country where I live no joke.

This is lowkey racist cause what do you mean “why?” Canada is run like USA not the Northern European countries. The population size it’s too small to sustain that so Immigration is needed literally. Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck: The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street). Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

I'm from a small place in eastern canada , Every tim's has been taken over ! My town might have 2500 people and not one white person works in any tim's within 400 km it's kinda crazy ! With hardly any jobs maybe they should employ people that's actually from here first ?

Trudeau ruined Canada….drugs, crime, now shootings in schools, lack of mental health care. NDP taxing the working class in BC….where did BC money go?? Crime at its worst….Pollution on hwy, back roads, speeding out of hand, dirty outhouses for tourists to gag at…..damaged trails not repaired…..BC housing to expensive for younger generations, lack of good paying jobs. NDP re elected….our budget received a “D”….funny how we ignore people living on streets or in tents “full of garbage”….theft issues with businesses even broken windows, fire issues. …..sad how BC is….born in BC 65 soon and this is not the BC I grew up in. Last 11 years deaths from drugs, has been excepted as a society…..no jail time for hard core criminals…..this is the reality behind the areas that are kept nice or had money invested into…..small towns were ignored…..little growth…or expansion ….list goes on ….so keep it real BC…why do we accept this as the “new normal”….? Where did our money go to…if you make over 50k…you’re being taxed more!! Yet food , and being taxed on every move we make down to water…..now more off working class people.

a few years back Brampton had a mayoral election and one of the people running was this guy John Sprovieri and he received and email complaining that a white man should not even be running because white people no longer have any business planning Bramptons future. He replied saying that people of all backgrounds want to come because of what white people built" he was sanctioned by the government for that comment and he was touted as a racist from then on. No comment was made about the indian woman who said white people shouldn't be allowed in the government in a Canadian city anymore. Last time I was in Brampton I was told to go back to my own country because I asked a group of indians who were playing indian music from concert volume speakers in a residential area at 1 am to turn it off. I don't think you captured a small fraction of how bad it is in Brampton.

Not just brown town in Brampton it’s all over. Worst thing man is they are training ppl in Punjab at the local stores. Train ppl in English or French it’s Canada. I find it ignorant to train ppl in a language that Canadians don’t use. I go into Tim Hortons in a small town and they barely know English. Ask for cream get sugar everytime man. the culture sometimes is rude and short with ppl. Too many apartments and rentals are putting student immigrants first instead of Canada students. Just a small word here. Khalistan sikh are not Indian Sikh. They are people who are wanted for various crimes even in India. They have criminal records and India has been requesting Canadian government to deport some of these people to undergo trial in India but Trudeau govt under jagmeet Singh did not agree and so you have crimes happening in Canada but the bad name goes to India. As far as this oppression against minority is concerned all sikhs in India are free to do as they wish in their own land. They have a democratically elected leader and sikhs in India are very happy. I lived in Brampton when its populations was 16,000 and it had a wooden bridge that crossed the Etobicoke Creek that ran across Hwy10 south at Meadowland park. It was washed away in 1965 flood. Small town, very 'orange', ie. Scottish protestant. Zero ethnics. Heck, they even hated the Catholics and wouldn't let them build the first Catholic church without a battle. It had one cinema downtown that charged .25cents for kids and .50cents for an adult ticket. It had a public pool that all the kids peed in during the summer and a red brick library which we went to religiously, every Friday to change our books. That town has completely disappeared. I used to drive to Brampton once a month for a meeting but decided driving into Brampton was such a risky behaviour especially on Bovaird, that I stopped going. Brampton has lost it character and exploded into a monstrous tract of cookie cutter box houses and strip malls. No one knows anyone else and there are no real neighbourhoods. If this is progress, give me the good old days when we could ride our bikes up and along Kennedy Road to Heart Lake conservation and go wading in the creek looking for tadpoles all day.

I read a case a week ago where a small town timmies got bought out by an Indian family who proceeded to kick out the local workers to make way for their family/friends. These people often are outright nepotists.

Lived in Brampton for 22 years and I seen it go from bad to worst (for obvious reasons) glad me and my family got the hell out of there cuz it’s a sinking ship, I’ll only visit to see friends and relatives but I’ll never move back, I now live in a small town near London, way better over here

As an emmigrant who came to this country 15 years ago, I am astonished by the lack of knowledge this country has. This reason stands in empty education ( in an irony of life, the canadians call it one of the best on the word), and the belief Canada is a democracy. It is typically a fascist country that makes spurious elections because it is truly run by an establishment hidden as a secret society and in the surface is run as a mafia by small groups of interest ( corporations, professional order, injustice system, and emty shell politicians). The others ( the canadian people) they enjoy democracy 😂, high quality of life( really, just make a visit to a poor european country as Portugal, Greece ). The same goes for education, just oven degrees hot and not edible. Now Canadians learned that immigrant are taking their land and opportunities. You're lied, put under pot, and cheated by your democratic representatives. Try to fight, you'll be in a gulag (minus 15 Celsius only for some day) until the nobel prize candidates of uot and mcgill will put you democratically under tanax.

Universities and certification are only good for doctors and lawyers. Useless for many fields. Finish your high school, have a road map, start slow, join a small firm in your area of interest, study hard, apply what you learned. As soon as you gain confidence, change jobs, get promotions. Don’t stay in comfort zone. That’s your enemy. When I listen old people whining, “I worked 20 years for this company and they fired me!.” It astonishes me. Why are they doing same thing, at same place for so long?? Nothing in this universe lasts forever.

It don't matter how you say it... It's plain and simple. Canada let to many criminals and organized crime members into Canada. This is a small part of how they get into countries and take over countries. Wake up and pay attention to the last 10 years history of England, France, Germany etc concerning immigrants coming in and how it changed their Whole Countries.. And NOT FOR THE BETTER!!!Canada will be worse off because no one stands up for Canada's values and history. It's just"sorry, ok you can do that", oh am I infringing on your rights/ beliefs from another country.. Than let me change how everything is done here to accommodate you so you will be happy. Let me take away all the customs Canadians were brought up with because it might offend you. Now, you can take over our country. That's the beginning.

An example. In the small village of about 60k people where I live, we struggle to keep a descent Chinese restaurant or two. Indians are attempting to put a restaurant, shop or grocery store in every shopping center in town. Not to mention eyeing every house that goes on the market in my neighborhood. Then there's the immigration abuse and fraud that comes along with the particular culture.
