Seeing decedents of immigrants disapproving the arrival of other immigrants is hilarious. Somebody needs to remind these people that they're descendants of immigrants themselves- why else do they think the Canadians speak French, have European names and are Caucasian?

I don't think Indians are particularly averse to work. They do however seem to have a different quality standard than what we're used to here in the West. There is also a more "creative" approach to societal rules that is not always compatible with Western values. I think Canadians are happy to welcome people from around the world. We just want them to adhere to the standards and traditions that made Canada they place they are trying hard to migrate TO. We have just had too many people in too short a time that it has destroyed the once solid Canadian culture.

Canadian companies would rather use the program than hire local Canadian workers or young workers who are looking for there first job opportunity and gain experience. I respect immigrants who come to Canada, contribute to the community and economy and are willing to leave their culture in the past and adapt to our culture and language. I don’t respect immigrants who refuse to adapt to our language and culture. This is a slap in the face to someone who spent over a year preparing to come to Canada. I spent tume and effort and lots of money and sleepless nights to make a perfect application. I made sure I be 100% honest bcuz its mainly part of my religion. When i got accepted and came , I counted the hours in my part time and paid attention that i dont work any extra min over my 20 hours during studies, I did the same for my PGWP and PR application. Its hurts my soul that someone can be dishonest and gets a slot in the quota competing with people who are doing it like me. Its insulting. If those ppl who are not decent enough to submit an honest application and follow the rules they should not be allowed a spot in the quota. They should be removed and sent back to where they came from. Canada should bot tolerate frauds. We literally came gere for a better life , a safer life. By accepting frauds in, you're telling future applicanys to cheat thier way into here.

As a Canadian born citizen and somebody who lives only about 30 minutes from Brampton I can truly say that no Canadian is racist we're not anti-immigration anti-immigration that's not what this is the issue that Canadians currently have is that the people who come here from other countries don't adapt to our way of life and learn our culture and our values and that doesn't mean that you have to stop practicing your values or your religion all Canadians are asking for is respect for how we live in this country end the other biggest thing to that is to me extremely disrespectful if you've been here for more than three years you should be able to speak English like a Canadian and everything should be able to understand you and if you can't do that then that is just flat out disrespectful and rude because if I came to your country and after 3 years I still didn't speak your language or spoke it very poorly you would think the same thing you'd find it extremely rude so do any immigrants reading this understand we have no issue with you guys being here just adopt to our way of life our way of life and learn how to speak English

I'm an immigrant who came here when i was almost 2 yrs old with my single mother who worked 3 jobs to support me.We're here for 45 yrs.I'm a proud Canadian and agree 💯 with Canadians.Why do we have to accept others religions while they dont have to..How is saying Merry Christmas now a bad thing to say or God Bless..They should leave their religion and culture behind their door and be proud and appreciate Canada let them in ..We need them to adapt to our Culture or go back to their country

Im a Canadian and honestly I've NEVER had a problem finding a job, I don't even have my highschool... I think it has to do with *which* jobs they are applying for. I get that theres an "immigration" problem, the refusal to adapt and assimilate feels like a slap in the face especially when the same few will talk I'll of the same system they benefit from. HOWEVER I don't think it's good to lump all of these problems together and dump collective blame on immigrants. For 1, all this immigration and policies have happened under a liberal government and y'all voted then in, AGAIN. - clearly you're not THAT desperate for change. 2nd. Are the ones saying they can't find work willing to work in trades? General laborers making $25-$30+++ No experience required. Tradespeople are glad to teach people willing to work hard and learn.. What about warehouse work? Apply to your 5 closest warehouses, I guarantee youll get in 1.. ALSO the government IS willing to help Canadians get little certifications like forklift, smartserve, CPR.. Career colleges can help with training (e.g - computer) as well as soft skills. So yeah, I wonder if it's people being just as picky as they were when Canada wasn't in the economical shitter it is in rn? Maybe Im far luckier or fortunate than most? Maybe expectations are too high? Maybe some stubbornly refuse assistance they are entitled to? Im not sure, but I do sympathize/empathize with you guys, I hope you all can "get through". Dont let these men use a child to not been deported,they don't do anything for the child. Not even as much as a visit. Even if the child is living few miles away. The Government should deport them if they cant show how much they're make and proof of paying child support.

The older immigrants that helped build their communities alongside the Canadian people, were willing to assimilate, to learn, to be APART of the community, this is NO LONGER THE CASE, and hasn't been the last 8 years. Back in the day our family would stop and give lifts to pedestrians who were elderly, carrying heavy items, or it was too cold, hot, whatever it was, my parents learned this when they immigrated to Canada and assimilated within their communities, and worked hard to be able to communicate the common initiative of prosperity. If you're able to come to a new country, be able to live there without ever learning the heritage of the land you inhabit, it's a shame. I'm proud to be a Canadian, and even more proud of my Immigrant parents for working hard to achieve what they have today, Godbless Canada 🙏

Majority number of these people are working under the table getting paid CASH.. at the same time they’re getting their welfare Checky and stealing the jobs that real Canadian citizens could have.. this is the reason you see most of these people working at gas stations, factories, and fast food restaurants.. they’re sharing apartments with 15-20 people and THIS IS REAL BAD FOR REAL CANADIANS.

In New Brunswick, the fast foods runs on Indian labor. You will notice that they all speak English. As someone who experienced the Canadian immigration system, I can tell you that the way they are doing it is far superiors the way the US does it. They actually try to determine if you're going to be a detriment to the society you're moving into. For example, if you are unable to prove that you won't be financially reliant on the state, they won't let you in. There are probably exceptions for refugees.

Where I'm from, we have a decent size Indian population. But we get a lot of the tech guys or doctors and stuff. They're nice for the most part, but some act like they're better than everybody. I think it's possibly remnants of living with a caste system, even though it was supposedly banned I think it's still a big part of their culture.
