Amazing that in a city like Toronto with every different race, only Indian people are working behind every single store counter.

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

My neighbourhood is primarily made of immigrants. I see a lot of elderly people brought to Canada by their adult kids. I see a huge number of single swarthy complexioned looking single males. Males who sit in malls, stand at streetcorners, wander and sleep in our parks. I no longer feel safe walking my dog. I am told to take my fnnn dog off the road. It's their road. Like he!!. My family came here as immigrants, paid their own way, bought real estate and never ever asked anyone for help. We even had to pay for our own healthcare before the NDP eventually intoduced national healthcare. And don't kid yourself, the refugee you find to get freebees off the Canadian taxpayers are not always poor. They keep their investments in Swiss, German, UK and US banks. Canadians are way too laid back and let this happen.

We dont need a single international student or study permit type of fellow. Get them all out and close the doors to new entries. Here is a aggressively neutral take as a Canadian elementary school teacher in an area with an extremely high Indian population (around half our school is ethnically Indian). It is also my own opinion, and some opinions on the internet suck: The good: Cultural integration IS possible (the Indian families are more into hockey than the white families where I live), tons of cross-cultural friendships, beautiful blend of cultural celebrations, top achievers are almost always second-generation immigrants, kids are growing up to love their parents' culture while also loving Canada's, many fantastic families who engage their children well and raise them very respectfully, religious temples that will feed an amazing meal to ANYBODY who walks into them (as long as you cover your hair), low rates of family trauma (drugs, abuse, divorce, etc.), families that take care of their elders The rough: Not all families are interested in being Canadian (some families just send their kids to Indian speaking private schools, live in Indian areas, and only seem to practice Indian ways of life - what's even the point?), many Indian families retreated into their home-lives during Covid which removed their children from integration opportunities, a very small percentage of the families are absolutely TERRIBLE at parenting and treat their sons and daughters with different levels of respect, multi-family households pay a single property tax which makes the contribution per taxpayer much smaller (while social benefits are equal to anybody else), some crime such as extortion and gang activity has been imported into the country, some individuals' disregard for rules and laws (setting fireworks on Diwali in the middle of a dry, grassy field is just plain stupid), some Indian communities seem to vote blindly for their own ilk during local elections without any regard for policy or experience, LMIA immigration program has been corrupted by the nepotism of bad actors and the greed of large corporations (wages can be federally subsidized which makes it cheaper to hire immigrants than the 16 year old down the street). Many of these families were simply making good choices for their own family, so don't blame the people themselves for this - blame the government that allowed it to fester unsustainably. I'll continue to stick up for the majority of these beautiful families though - haters be darned! Watching these kids grow up gives me some hope for humanity!

The worst part is that every city town village has them. My families village has a population of 140 in the middle of nowhere north Alberta yet every single fast food place is staffed by Indians. How did they even find these places? The government is sending them.

I am an Indian. Many of the new comers from the North of India , whether students or immigrants, do not speak English fluently. Some, especially the Punjabis, cannot even read and speak even a single sentence in English. They bribe the immigration officials and get the IELTS certificate for whichever score/band they need. Some of them have a criminal background. When the inquiry for background check comes up, they bribe the police to get a clean certificate... and they all immigrate to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other Western countries. Every other brown skinned people gets hated and embarrassed because of these people. I have a strong feeling that many in IRCC are of Indian decent and they help these people. These people are racists, arrogant, selfish, greedy, rude, disrespectful, uncivilized and mostly unintellectual. They don't even respect people from other parts of India.
