I immigrated to Canada in 1996. This country was such a beautiful and peaceful place back then.. Unfortunately, these immigrants these days have no respect or courtesy for Canadian laws and other people. The majority of them come in, commit crimes, partake in protests that disrupt everyday Canadians just trying to get to work and support their families, all while collecting free money from the government, not to mention free health care and they do not even have the decency to simply follow the laws and regulations of this country. I hope the Canadian government takes action soon to get Canada back to the way it should be.

Countries with massive populations should be at the bottom of the list for immigration. It's just common sense, we already have 1.5 BILLION indians, so why would we want them migrating in large numbers to other countries too?! The same applies to Africans. From a practical standpoint, White-majority nations should be protected from demographic change. We've benefited enormously from these countries, and any rational person would want them to stay as they are.

While the end result is the actual "immigrant", you can tell these new immigrants all day and night to go back to their country... The immigrant themselves will be looking at you like... Huh? Why? Furthermore the campaigns they would have in other countries to literally sell the idea for them to apply to become an immigrant in Canada. The libs are 100% responsible for what is happening now... For me to tell an immigrant, the he/she is not wanted here is not relevant... The government sold them the pitch to come here for a better life.... Trudeau allowed other loopholes to happen too.... Migrants through applying to colleges and universities, migrants through the liberal foreign work program and the list goes on. Now we have a problem and everyone sees it.... The question is what do we do as Canadians... I exercised my vote for blue...but we still had a majority of liberal supporters which was not just surprising but it seemed that people think Conservatives are bad people who are racist and want to follow trumps steps... i begged to differ.... I think what many of us are aiming for is a cleaning up of liberal policies... And stop immigration from ALL PLACES. Allow Canada to re-coop, reestablish and redevelop what it always was.

Major reason for so much immigration of Indians is because here in india to get a well paying job and a well settled life you need to be educated and skilled. Whereas in countrys such as canada it is more easy to have a good living with less efforts and less education. Therefore they prefer moving out of country than working hard in there own country. And in the case of Brampton they saw an opportunity and demand for businesses and workforce so they grabbed there opportunity. Because at that time there was not much going on in Brampton when indians started immigrating . So you can say indians are the reason Brampton has grown gradually. But i do think now it is too crowded and people haven't stopped coming. Now there are no requirements as such. So that is why more useless indians are moving in canada nowadays.

I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. I'm a concrete worker they do not let these walls set properly, they don't seal the windows and doors properly, everything's going to leak but because they only rent to people from their home country after 3 years they can take their name off the property and nobody and I mean nobody is going to report leaks because they have a tyrannical control over who they rent to.... I dont even need to name the group because its OBVIOUS, living in the same city most ky life I've seen a drastic change, and this isnt intregation like my family did as they we're the members of french part of the metis tribe long ago. 5 years in a row they have added an average of 70,000 people legally to the city I live in I live in of 1.4 million people that is absolutely absurd the train system is packed all the way until 1:00 a.m.... it's just simple economics you can't add that many people and have a sustainable City.... these idiots never played sim city or some shit Also there are millions that came pretending to get spots in our universities and didn't show up, and these are the same people that are buying up all the businesses and houses and only letting the people from their own country be involved that is not integration....... I hope it’s clear to everyone how, while good people, the majority of interviewees in this video are taking advantage of our country because we’re “nice” and they aren’t able to sort things out in their own. The majority of these people aren’t highly educated and came in on student visas and you’ve got to wonder why our government allowed this. No offence to the amazing Indian people, as a Canadian I find the majority very helpful and good for our country. However, things changed 2015- onwards- there are large scam companies now that bring unqualified people by taking money from them and creating fake student permits for them. The issue with that is that these people are OK with subpar living standards and offer their services for less than minimum wage and this creates a shadow/ cash-based economy where taxes go unreported and quality of life does not improve. This is not good for anyone- not the Canadians and older immigrants who lose jobs to these people and must pay higher taxes to maintain the infrastructure needed for a larger population. Not to mention how these new immigrants are a bit uncultured and almost like the "red-necks" of India- they throw garbage around, do not learn English, never make friendships with other races/ethnicities.

If the majority of the people from India stay in gta and work service related jobs in their community we need to ask ourselves as Canadians what benefit they bring to Canada as a whole and if we need this kind of immigration in the first place. If they never came here, Brampton would have still been a small town and Canadian economy would not change for the worst because of it.

As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. Let’s take it one lie at a time. First the video opens saying over 850k inhabitants, within a minute or two all of a sudden the population is now 750k. Meanwhile the actual population is 650k. Brampton has not been a city of 18k or 28 k as many for at least 60 years. In 1980 the population of Brampton was over 200k, so very far above the supposed 28k. Slightly over 150k are from India or of Indian ancestry, so not a majority. A little under a third of Brampton inhabitants are immigrants. Again not a majority. Homeless shelters are usually found in churches, especially ones with homeless centers in them like the one visited by the video crew. 4 bigots in the streets is what was interviewed to present a bigoted view of a city. Canadian companies would rather use the program than hire local Canadian workers or young workers who are looking for there first job opportunity and gain experience. canadians and her multicultural ways simply can not compete against india, africa, south asia and various latin american countries because of 1 thing - birth rates. and when i say the canadian way and what 'used' to be a balanced multicultural way of life - is now being completely replaced by, majority led, india and a select handful of a few other nations - philippines, nigeria, bangladesh and some middle eastern nations. most of these nations - minus the philippines - have very different values and laws from the west. gender inequality, caste systems and not to mention religious / secular conflicts. racism is also incredible in those nations - again, minus the philippines. the only reason i include the philippines on this list as well is because their numbers are also very high in terms of the recent immigration scams but still not as high as india - who by large is the biggest scammer by a mile. these nations export canadian capital to their home nations and recycle the cash and bring in more of their own people. it is blatant soft power take over of canada without firing a single shot. canadians need to wake up and bring back balanced immigration. i will never accept sharia law, caste systems of gender inequality in canada but it is already here and their population is hundreds to thousands of times more than canada and they are already establishing incredibly strong roots here.

The massive majority of Indians I've met in Canada have been absolutely kind. I have no ill will for the people. I do have ill will for our liberal government though. There's just too many people coming in at once. In 2025 we had 415,000 new permanent residences. 2024 it was 425,000. The liberal government said they were going to lower immigration and they didn't. They gutted the international student program but they kept the influx of permanent residences coming in because they're not done buying votes.

I heard why the government did the immigrants wrong. I was talking to an uber driver and my pharmacist. They told me the promises of luxury in Canada has and offered for them to live a better lives. They didn't know after they came here for work and or college/university they become in major debt. They said that they're in a luxury debt and never getting out of debt knowing that they're stuck in Canada and can't be allowed to leave unless they pay off the debts. That's 100 % wrong to do that to people when they know they don't feel welcomed and want to go home. I'm a metis Canadian and I had to leave Ontario to find affordability and miss my home. GOVERNMENT THIS IS YOUR FAULT AND YOU KNOW IT! Let them go home in debt. You made this mess. FIX IT! Including the baby boomers that made the problem started 8 % rate interests to buy houses. That was a mistake that should be bought 1 house and nothing else. I forgot to add something. The uber driver told me that india doesn't know that it's a debt luxury trap that you can't leave unless you pay your debt. He felt alone and found some people and the internet to make himself feel better temporary. TEMPORARY! He hates it here, but he respects Canadians. He feels sorry for the new ones that are coming to become debt trap. It's the same for the pharmacy. She got into college to be a pharmacy and bought the store. She is on low income but doesn't qualify for any supports like benefits to pay off her medical things. The reason she can't because they'll see the pharmacy store is income. Wait what? So she doesn't quilify for benefits because she's making income to pay off her massive loan to do her job. It's not enough to live by as what she told me. She also does misses home, but also traped in luxury debt. This is what I have learned so far. I went through a car accident and coudln't get out of the car. I thought in Brampton, Ontario was the rudest people on the planet, but was saved by the angels of indian people saved me out of the vehicle from the smoke. I still thank you! There is still good people out there and some are stupid people out there. Keep it up because being kind gets you to be positive to others and make things better when the world is fcked right now.

In Canada, we imported almost 10% of our population is the last five years, the majority of whom came from India. There's no doubt that Indian culture is not the same as Canadian culture, and importing such a massive number so quickly means we are far more likely to see those cultures bumping up against each other, rather than giving them a chance to assimilate and blend. Like any good cook, I know if you try to add the eggs too quickly and in too much of a hurry, you get scrambled eggs in weak sauce, not a thick creamy custard. Same principle applies to immigration. We need to give people the time and chance to learn and absorb our culture and values, else we end up with ghettos and a weakened society.

I feel very sad because, in the end, all immigrants end up paying the price for the bad attitudes of a few. I speak especially from the perspective of Latin American immigrants: we are not the majority in Canada, but we come with the intention of adapting, of including ourselves in the local culture, and of contributing the best we can. Our culture is not so distant — we share religion, family values, and lifestyle — and we arrive with the willingness to integrate, not to impose. Even so, for us the path is extremely difficult: getting permanent residency and, eventually, citizenship is a long, expensive, and complicated process. And we do it, we comply with the rules, we respect, we pay everything. What hurts is seeing that some other groups arrive with a different attitude: instead of integrating, they want to impose their culture, their religion, even their body odors, and if you make a face or express discomfort, they immediately take it as “discrimination.” It is not fair that, for example, my child should stop bringing meat in his lunch just because another child bullies him saying he is “a filthy sinner.” Inclusion should be mutual, an effort on both sides, not a one-sided demand.

Brampton born and bread here 🙋‍♂️. During my childhood and teenage years, Brampton was known to be one of the most ethnically diverse places in the world. It wasn’t until my university years I noticed an influx of people of a particular demographic in my city. Now, the majority of Bramptonians who lived in the city 10+ years ago have essentially been flushed out of our own city. I’m not opposed to immigration at all but what this group have done to the fabric and culture of Brampton is so sad. It’s moved from a city of diversity to one of homogeneity and it’s absolutely disheartening.

Let's be real, about this nation called Canada where real native canadians were "First Nations, Metis & Inuit" they were the ones as Indigenious people who inhabited canada for thousand of years ago & later demographic shift could later be seen during 16th century from European colonization where majority of french and british invaded with consistent colonization & took control of the land, these settlers, along with later European immigrants, seized indigenous land, displaced indigenous communities, and brought diseases that decimated native populations. Long story short now, based on 2021 census data shows native canadian population make up to only 5% of total Canadian population whereas the rest remaining are non-indigenous people of Canada at above 90% are foreign invaders from 16th century who came as an opportunist and occupied everything; same as Indian they came took the opportunity by working hard, contributing to the nation yet, you people here crying, complaining & bragging abt these & that abt Indian's bt let's not forget "Europeans" are the ones who did the dirtiest things characterized by forced assimilation, abusive residential school system, and loss of land.
