I used to go to high school there 10 years ago. it used to be a very pretty place, as far as urban places go. Back then it was called an Indian ghetto too, (despite the fact we still had a lot of whites and blacks in the area) but I dont dare imagine what it looks like now.

As a Canadian born Chinese guy, i couldn't agree more with the people who said they refuse to assimilate. It's honestly embarrassing for people like my parents who immigrated and assimilated properly to Canada many years ago. Same can be said about the mainland Chinese people in Vancouver. Im not racist, I dont hate people because their skin color isnt white like mine, Im happy to have immigrants here if they are willing to integrate like the previous generations have. We arent having kids because unlike other countries, we want to put kids first, and its irresponsible to have children when our economy is unaffordable to have them. The actions of few spoiled Indians affect the entire Decent Indian community and India. Canada is in need of labour force due to less population and India has more population but insuffient jobs to engage people. If this scenario is reversed Indians would be complaining like canadians do. So the problem is not one way, just becos reducing immigrants does not solve the issue. people have to see things past nationality or physical identity into the statistics. even though canada has professionals of their own there are people who work with dedication and who work without interest, or recent generation being attracted to digital life instead of understanding that college degrees in mainstream subjects are what earns them job and also they have to show dedication and hardwork along with smart work, comply by the work place rules and so on... this goes to all invariable of who they are. all these started changing and now people instead of trying to correct these small changes that lead to these large issues of cost of living and low wages, have now started to pit against live people and their race, nationality or culture. There are good and bad people eveyrwhere, people cant justify the actions of drug addicts roaming the streets and that has increased a lot now, people acting violently against others just becos they dont have what the other has, and so on. but instead of addressing the high amount of actions that are happening around our own country, it has become easy to put blame on each other. I am not justfying the actions of these bad indians who has done these stuff. but we have to see the other side of it before making this a International Issue. Yes, few Indians are bad but not the entire community. Canada has its own needs that needs a lot of hands and support. So, only if we change our perspective beyond the emotional BS we exhibit, we can address the real issue with real solutions. BTW becoz of these things private companies are the one profitting not the Govt.

Everything in this video is the sad reality of today, I worked in a production of fruits and veggies, and the agency "immigrants" hiring were practically, eating food with their hands instead of utensiles available to everyone at said place to even praying infront of canadian employees about their own beliefs and old ways.... it's truly disrespectful to be surrounded by immigrants who couldn't care for 2 cents about the country they migrate too. I'm now unemployed, been searching for a job for the last 3 months and can't even get hired into a basic low wage job like mc donalds tim hortons or any of those because its filled with nothing but immigrants. They take over businesses and refuse to hire non Punjab people because they won't fit in the workplace culture. They've been taking the excessive handouts from the Canadian government and are slowly buying up tons of real estate. Its everywhere in canada. Brampton is just ground zero. What's it like? We just got a new Walmart down the street. They took a staff picture and it was 80% indian people. Hardly any locals got jobs there instead its mostly "new citizens" who have lived here less than a year or two. Every day there's more of them. And because of our liberal government and tax breaks and all sorts of racist allowances these people have got, they all have money and houses and new cars when they were dirt poor in India like 3 years ago. They get interest free loans from banks, they get daily per diems and housing as soon as they get here. Keep in mind tent cities are growing rapidly in Canada. And our government is spending HUGE amounts of our tax dollars to subsidize this takeover. And try living here and renting. Due to this influx, a bungalow that was 1500 a month 10 years ago, is now 4500 a month and youre renting off an Indian person. Word to the wise tho, dont even bring up the tow truck businesses. They'll shoot you And last but not least our retarded government just passed a birthright citizen law for them. So now if you come here from India even if only for a couple years, ALL subsequent offspring of yours can immediately get citizenship here no question asked. We are so fucked

Dont know about canada but we Indians live rent-free in canadians heads. I've never been to canada, nor even thought about that country much in my life up until i started meeting many canadians on the internet who lose it on me for no reason at all. The most hateful people i have met online have been canadians. I have talked to american gr0ypers online on platforms like discord and omegle etc... and they've been more respectful, polite and friendly than so called "liberal" canadians. Some of them i even befriended. This is sad. What a sorry state it would be to live in one of these canadians mind. Filled with hate against one particular peoples. All of this hate that i have received will only make me definitely avoid to visit canada at all costs!

Thank god I declined my invite. I'm an Indian and was recently hired for my expertise but I respectfully declined and told my clients I would be able to remotely help them. As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

So I reside in Ontario, I live in a city they call the armpit of Ontario. And everytime I come to this restaurant (I dont want to say what restaurant but if u ask id tell you) - I would see a lot of them coming in by groups and they wear clothes like they still live back to whatever country they are from and would sit on their chairs cross legged as other people eat their food. Every hour theres dozens of them coming and I came to think are these people even legally here. It is just crazy to me as a legal immigrant where me and my family waited for 8 years for the application process, spent hundreds of thousands of money meanwhile I see people that arent from here and not even try to assimilate to Canadian culture. It is just infuriating.

It's coming to a small town near you.. I'm just glad they decided to fill up brampton before they fill up surrey (which they surely will very soon) When i was a kid, i was annoyed that there were so many chinese where i lived (Richmond, iykyk) but they never really did anything to wrong me. As i grew up i realized they just mind their own business and stay out the way, and generally let their children be pretty liberal (other than the studying). I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. If these were French people like my heritage is, I would be even more pissed because I could say something without being called a racist. These immigrants are coming here with one goal retribution against the English Empire for the past or some shit, I dont know, and they're taking it out on us Canadians. over 5 years I've collected proof so I feel very safe coming out now and talking about this because I have everything to back it up. Those single homes I was talking about half of them burned down and they use insurance fraud money add multiple loopholes to use government money along the way as well, that's damn taxpayer money building parts of these homes...
