As an emmigrant who came to this country 15 years ago, I am astonished by the lack of knowledge this country has. I actually worked at Tim Hortons(I'm a white guy), and there were literally so many Indians that they'd order each other around in Hindi. They'd only speak English to me and the customers. I had a shift coordinator in fact who would reflexively give me orders in Hindi, and would get a little ticked off and repeat it in Hindi, and then when it clicked that I'm the only non-Hindi speaker there, he'd give 1 word orders like "Garbage" or "Sinks". The owner of the Tim Hortons also said that if I was a little slow or needed extra training, they wouldn't fire me because they don't like to keep rotating workers around, and instead would rather just retrain them. I was a tad bit slow(only because I was precise and not violating health and safety standards), and they fired me in like 10 seconds. Like my second monthly review, I was fired. I have a feeling it largely had to do with the fact that I was not Indian and didn't speak Hindi, so therefore the shift coordinators had less tolerance for me.

My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. It’s not even immigration at this point it’s just a full take over and a blatant disrespect for our country. Don’t follow the rules, aren’t compliant , protesting that Canadians don’t respect them and that they should stay there even if the visa is up, demanding money, buying all businesses and blatantly not hiring Canadians because they aren’t of a certain race. It’s extremely disrespectful and we need to start sticking up for the people of this country and have tighter rules and regulations to get in. Disappointed in our country…we’ve failed. What happened to the old school immigrants that would come in work hard build wealth and have pride in moving to Canada. It’s really the younger generation of immigrants that are entitled and stupid. And this is coming from a young person. Some of the immigrants (if you know you know) aren’t even that good at their job, they careless do it half ass and expect tips and that certain details will go unnoticed because they didn’t earn the job they just showed up and were handed the job.

I am disgusted by what Canada has become. The government has allowed a free for all to take place without checks and balances for their own profit…whether it’s votes for political mileage, money that is being invested by certain people groups that will help enrich the pockets of government or whatever the reason - has caused this country to descend to the dumps st a rate faster than it takes to say ‘Oh Canada’. As an immigrant, I have seen the degeneration within the country (particularly Toronto & GTA) in 10 years. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a different country, with a different language other than English or French, individuals who refuse to adopt the traditional Canadian lifestyle, who are allowed in with little value for system and order, allowed to procreate and ‘raise’ children who don’t appreciate the Canadian values, both born and immigrants using crime as their currency to their warped perception of wealth and an whole history of issues that impact the lives of the average law and culturally abiding citizen. Oh there’s so much more that can be said about the state of this nation, but if there are bold-faced chants about who will be ruling Canada by 2060, those that have the power to do something need to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION. That is not just wishful thinking. That is a threat that will come to pass if a blind eye and a deaf ear is turned which, the government seems bent on doing. A word to the wise is sufficient.

They get a lot of homes through mortgage fraud (watch the CDC report), to rent out as rooming houses, and they are a big reason for the housing shortage. Please do not buy from them if they are the selling agent. They are known to put harmful hidden clauses in the documents to get more money out of you than the list price, then you find out after the sale closes. They did this to one lady who bought her first home, and when the details were revealed AFTER closing, she had to file for BANKRUPTCY to clear her name and start her financial life again. DO NOT do the deal if they are the selling agent, and NEVER sign any paperwork they give you. We call it P----i paperwork. Do not sign it. Period. If they are the selling agent, walk away. Please spread the word. Their behavior is an ORGANIZED assault on the Canadian real estate and financial system, and it demands Canadians to deliver an organized response in rejection of this behavior. Boycott.

Indians have been in Canada for a very long time. Many came from Punjabi closer to colonial times. The racism in the comments is inexcusable. People of all different backgrounds commit crimes , public nuisances, etc. and the complaining of dominating every industry? I’m not sure what angle that is.
