Canada's Immigration Crisis: Prioritizing National Interests Over Uncontrolled Influx from India The Government of Canada must immediately halt the unchecked influx of immigrants from India. This is not about xenophobia—it's about protecting Canadian society, resources, and identity from a pattern of exploitation that is eroding our nation. 1. Failure to Assimilate and Community Insularity Indian immigrants are not integrating into Canadian culture. Instead, they form parallel societies: Sending children to private ethnic schools that prioritize Indian languages and customs over Canadian values. Erecting statues and cultural symbols that celebrate India, not Canada—this is Canada, not a satellite of New Delhi. Prioritizing their own communities in hiring and services, creating ethnic enclaves that exclude others. This insularity prevents true assimilation and fosters division. 2. Exploitation of Systems and Loopholes Many arrive through fraudulent means and demand instant benefits: Establishing "diploma mill" colleges solely to gain entry, then claiming permanent residency or citizenship after minimal study. Only Indians teachers are hired through this made up "Colleges". Sponsoring extended family chains (parents, siblings, cousins) who contribute nothing but drain resources. Elderly parents, who have never paid Canadian taxes, access healthcare and social services immediately, overburdening hospitals while their families use nursing homes as a last resort. Bribing for driver's licenses abroad, leading to reckless, entitled driving on Canadian roads. These tactics exploit loopholes, bypassing fair processes meant for genuine contributors. 3. Strain on Resources and Job Market The rapid population growth is unsustainable: High birth rates (far above Canada's replacement level) are used strategically to "populate" the country and secure more benefits. Taking jobs from Canadians in government, police, education, healthcare, and beyond—often through nepotism and "cutting in line" for their networks. For example IRCC Director - Harpreet Kochhar Deputy Minister - Pemi Gill and Aiesha Zafar who have no idea where the 79,000 illegal Indians are in Canada. Remove these Minister from their position. They are incompetent in the jobs. Fraud = Predominant country = India. Nepotism is rampant in their community and their class system mentality. Overwhelming housing, food banks, parks (littered with garbage), and public spaces (including reports of improper behavior on beaches). Many work in low-productivity roles, undercutting wages and relying on welfare despite employment. Canadians are being displaced in their own country. 4. Criminal and Cultural Importation A subset brings a "gangster mentality" from India: Rising involvement in organized crime, fraud, and violence in cities like Brampton and Surrey. Lazy or substandard work ethic in some cases, prioritizing quick gains over quality. Just look at Tim Horton! This is not the skilled, law-abiding immigration Canada needs. Call to Action: Policy Reforms Now Cap and pause Indian immigration until assimilation metrics improve. End chain migration and fake college scams—require proven contributions before PR/citizenship. Enforce assimilation: Mandate public schools, cultural integration tests, and community service. Protect Canadians first: Prioritize housing, jobs, and services for citizens. I don't care if this is labeled "racist"—the evidence is clear. Indians are not here to build Canada; many are here to overtake it. Canadians have to act before it's too late.

Appluses for hearing one side of the story. Care to hear the perspective of an Indian Immigrant in Canada? Then read on. I believe most people are barking up the wrong tree. As a legal immigrant who migrated here with a nuclear family only on merit, I believe I earn the privilege to voice my thoughts here. First of all, rather than blaming the hoards of Indian immigrants, why don't anyone ask questions to the people who allowed it? Why not ask the politicians who vetoed it? Why not ask the police who is not able to stop reckless drivers? Why not ask the minister's who allow hospitals to run under staffed? USA has a massive Indian diaspora. But they are mostly IT workers and CEOs and Doctors. So who was at mistake of bringing illiterate, uncouth Indians to Canada? After earning all the required merit, and paying as much taxes from my family that is equivalent to minimum wages of at least 4 people, it hurts me to see undeserving people taking benefits of the system, while we get the short end. No one seemed too concerned when Indian students brought in so much money and revived some dead economies. No one blamed thousands of Punjabi businesses bringing in dollars into the economy. India, with its 150 billion people has s#!to eaters and people who can buy out Canada. You only see the bad. Press the government to bring in good people. Doctors, engineers, lawyers, scientists, business people, who will add value to the country and generate you jobs and salaries and grow this country. Not cooks and drivers only. Khalistan and Pro-BJP factions are both bad outside India. They all should go back and let the peace loving Indians and Canadians live here in peace. I don't hate anyone, but just the people who make my home country and me look bad. We ain't that bad after all.

You have to realize how rigged the system is for example. Take a look at the liberal MP from Mississauga Malton. He only hires staff from India. He primarily deals with PR card issues as per his 5 star Google reviews. Anytime he makes a video talking about liberal propaganda. He has to turn off commenting section of the video due to the backlash. This is what happens when you elect foreign born MPs

Finally someone is looking into this. FFS they literally founded non existent colleges to exploit the bridge loopholes from a faux student visa to a faux job which gets them to a PR status because the immigration offices are not doing their jobs. We've been flodded with fake students for years now. And for the record I am not against student visas and legal and appropriate immigration. Far from it. I appreciate every person, whether from India or somewhere esle, that is in Canada legally and with intention to integrate and contribute.

The most dangerous part is that many of them are working as nurses now. I am a nurse and have been training these people from India. To be honest, it is very a hard and frustrating process cos I have to teach them even the most basic skills like taking a blood pressure or covid swab cos they know nothing. Hospitals are hiring them because they believe their “ lmany” years of nursing experience in India. Then I found out that in their country, nursing is only 3 years compared to 4 years in Canada and they do not require a nursing license to work as nurses in India. They come here, go to review centres to pass the licensure exam. And the College of nurses of Ontario allow this! Nursing is stressful enough and we do not have time to teach English and basis nursing. There are still many Canadian nurses I know looking for a job but they don’t even get an invite for an interview because even the HR department are Indians. Seriously, these people need to get investigated.

Let me use this opportunity to bring awareness to the oppression of Tibetans. No, I am not talking about the Tibetans in China. I am talking about Tibetans in occupied South Tibet, which was annexed by India in 1951 and made a state by India in 1987 to become the so-called Arunachal Pradesh. South Tibet includes Tawang, birthplace of the Sixth Dalai Lama and home to a four-hundred-year-old Tibetan Monastery. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are fast becoming strangers in their own native homeland because the Indian government is settling Indians in the region to change the demographic structure of the area and trashing the place just like the Indians did in India or in Canada. The Indians like to mock them, calling them Chinese as a form of insult (sometimes using slurs such as the C* word or the M* word). Rape by Indians in occupied South Tibet is a major source of anger among the locals toward the thuggish Indian occupiers. Another thing is that India doesn't trust the locals and likes to accuse them of being Chinese spies if they don't display enough loyalty to the Indian occupier. This area is tightly controlled by India, with limited access to the outside world. In 2014, a Tibetan Chinese called Nido Tania went to Delhi and was beaten to death because he looked 'Chinese'. His case was hardly an isolated one. Northeasterners in India have for years endured racial hatred by the Indian people. They have held demonstrations in New Delhi, but not much has changed. On December 9, 2025, a Chinese-looking youth from the north-east Indian state was murdered by racist Indian thugs. The thugs mocked him with racist taunts like "CHINKI, MOMO, CHINESE," etc., and then the youth was mercilessly beaten to death. This is not the first nor will it be the last case of racism against the north eastern people living under New Delhi's oppression. No killer or rapist of the northeastern people has ever been brought to justice. The Indian political leadership does nothing more than produce hollow words of sympathy: "I AM VARY VARY SAARY!" There was not even a single word of support or remorse from the high priest of the Bar-Rat hindu empire: Modi. The greatest irony and shameless hypocrisy of India and Indians is that the murdered youth's father is serving in the Indian Border Security Force and deployed along the border with China. He is fighting against China for a country that is ready to kill him and his family for looking Chinese. Some years back, yet another rape case by Indian soldiers occurred in Bomdila, South Tibet. The local police detained the two suspects, and the Indian military, fearing that the two suspects would be lynched, stormed the police station, vandalized it, and rescued the two suspects. This leads to massive protests by the local people. Eventually, the unrest caught the attention of New Delhi, and India flew in the defense minister to Bomdila to make a show of force to suppress the protests. Today, South Tibet is restless, and India knows it. This is the reason a law called the AFSPA (Armed Forces Special Power Act) is imposed on South Tibet. AFSPA gives the state the power to detain or kill anyone with impunity. No due process is needed. AFSPA is imposed on areas India deems restless, such as South Tibet and Kashmir. It is a law meant to suppress dissent and instill fear among the populace. The Tibetans in occupied South Tibet are voiceless people because they are not the right kind of Tibetans, so their plight is ignored by the Western world. I have yet to hear from the Western media any concern for the human rights abuses of the Tibetans in occupied South Tibet by India. P.S. I am using the word Tibetan as an umbrella term to include the various Sino-Tibetan Burmese people (Monpa, Abotani (called Lhotba on the Chinese side),..etc. The Sixth Dalai Lama was a Monpa) in South Tibet. The Sixth Dalai Lama is known for his many love poems and romantic escapades outside the Potola Palace. Sadly, his hometown, Tawang, is now under India's occupation since 1951. The Tawang Monastery is the last major frontier monastery before the area merged into the tribal region. It historically enjoyed a close relation with the Beijing central government. It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

The video also doesn't really do a good job of concluding. Props to the religious orgs who hand out food and have food banks. Good to care for others and look to take care of others who are poor in the area. That's good religious orgs. A community that cares. Obviously more immigrants from the area is a good thing for relations between India - Canada and other SEA countries. Also, Brampton has been able to generate lots of revenue and wealth. Lots of successful business. Good for Canadian culture as well given we are a multicultural country. Personally, I didn't learn much about India going through school but I am sure there are lots of interesting connections between India and Canada. 😄

They are overpopulating my area too. When I walk around my Costco, there have been times where there are Indians in every single direction I look, as far as I can see. I'm not even exaggerating. If I forgot where I was, I would think I was in India. There are so many Indian restaurants around me. The area I live in is actually a nice newly built area (over the past 5 years.) It wasn't like this when I first moved to this area.

I am an Indian, I am working in india and have no plans to settle or even work abroad. I wouldve loved to visit canada but now I'm afraid I'll be treated poorly since I'll be judged by my looks, I will be a tourist of course but yeah.

My parents immigrated to Canada from Portugal. They set about trying to be even more Canadian than someone born here. I have no problem with immigration, but I do start to when people refuse to adopt our customs and ways and just act as though they are still in India and don't respect Canada- the country they have moved to. They take advantage of our health care systems, benefits etc etc. I find it sad that Canada is starting to look nothing like the country I remember in my youth.

I am from India came to Canada legally (gone through 7 months of processing and waiting , submitted countless documents , photos , chat history to prove relation status and professional experience, literally submitted all my life story) to obtain PR and come to Canada just to realize that people without any of these come from different parts of the world especially India bypassing the system and living better life working cash jobs and doing random stuff. When i went to take driving license first time, An Indian origin guy rejected my application saying that my Indian License wasn't looking original enough , where I have seen people who couldn't even speak basic English were applying to get license to drive trucks. It is sad to see how many of our people are bringing a lot of 'Indianness' to this country and live like it is their own turf. I have met many young and middle aged individuals who call themselves students who doesn't even have a clue of what they are studying. It is unbelievable how people of certain status live their life partying and enjoying breaking all sort of rules , dropping out of college etc. when people who are here legally and many Canadians struggling to pay rent / mortgages / insurances etc. Don't even want to talk about job security , its a joke. Finally happy to see someone raising voice.

Instead of relying on immigration, Canada should focus on innovation — create robots, invest in R&D, and encourage its own population to have more children. Solving the labour shortage domestically is a long-term solution. Bringing in large numbers of people from 3rd world countries won’t fix the real issues — it may even harm the system over time. Speaking as an Indian, I can say that many of our people don’t adapt to the host country’s culture or values; instead, they often bring the same mindset that created problems back home. Look at India — poor infrastructure, declining quality of life, and a government more focused on propaganda than progress. Importing that mentality, even among the so-called “educated,” won’t benefit Canada. Core values and a willingness to evolve matter far more than degrees. Your govt should also stop permit or spending public money on building temples, mosques, or any religious structures. Why do we even need them? Faith is a personal matter — keep your beliefs and celebrations at home. Things starts with these things only.

We don’t feel now living in Canada. It looks India as a result of issuance of too many student visas to one specific country.

This story tells you so much though . This city seems to be an example of how canadas integration policy isn’t working . Look what everyone said -> they couldn’t find jobs , none of the Canadians accepted foreign work experience so they created thier own jobs . B4 asking why aren’t you integrating has Canada asked the tough questions to themselves why do they make it hard for ppl to find jobs in the first place ? In India community is a strong feature no matter where you are they will create an environment that replicates home to ensure their roots stay strong and it’s also for support, loneliness and many things . Now ppl from India don’t just come to Canada due to job crisis back home they come bcz they want to escape the 1.4 billion population and suffocation that comes with it . The negative thing about Indians is they don’t know what’s right n wrong . It’s a thin line bcz that common sense isn’t taught in India . In India your in a race if you snooze you loose so those bad habits of trying to beat the competition comes with a world of bad manners and bad civic sense . Which now unfortunately due to cities like these won’t go away . They’ll stay the same bcz Brampton is that home away from home comfort pillow tat screams LETS NOT CHANGE .

This is a multifaceted problem for us. Firstly we keep emigrating people in, to deal with a declining population, instead of addressing the issues directly resulting in declining population, like the housing problem, cost of living, under paying jobs, and astronomical Post secondary prices to get basic diplomas I know for a fact that 90's babies will be the last generation to have more then one child. Another issue is the recruitment centers in India, funded by Canadian corporations looking for cheap labor, promising the world to struggling Indians only to back out of every promise they made, and put the burden on the government and Canadians. This plus a lack of population control in India, is set that to have Indians to be over 25% of the global population in the next 50 years.

The fact we allowed over 3 million temporary work visa all from India should be looked into! What there are no other countries?
