This guy didn't do his research, toronto/ontario has many neighbours that might look dominated by one ethnic group.. I think we have more Asian deep pockets here than just Brampton has indians. As a brown guy who is born and raised here, not every brown person is Indian. There are Guyanese, Trinidadians, Sri Lankans, Bengali, Nepali etc people that are in no way related, linguistically, culturally or religiously to people from Punjab that have been here decades and respect the land, the culture and learn English. The majority of the mass migration as of late has come from one state in India. Many are good people, but many try to make Canada the home they left. Too bad the rest of us south asians and west indians are painted with this broad brush.

Simple people worldwide have to tear their buts up to get high scores in CELPIP, IELTS, getting 10-11 out of 12, and still not enoughj points for application. Immigration technically is an asset for a country like Canada, however the open door policy turned that asset into a liability. When you have a migrant community congregate into ghetto like fashion, you know your policy has failed somewhere. Psychologically speaking human would naturally gravitate towards people they have similarities(language, color, likes & dislikes, etc) with and congregate as a "tribe" for warmth & security. Just put one white person alone in the middle of an Indian market at rush hour, i promise you they'd run to the first white person they spot for "security", now tell that one guy that he has to live in India for the foreseeable future and that he has a choice of living in any area of that city and he learns that there a part of town where most of the white people live, where do you think he'll go?

I've had both good and bad experiences with Indians, I worked with one guy at the local supermarket, he literally had the entire department hating on him, he was disrespectful, constantly tried to avoid doing his job, the rest of my department had to rally together to tell management to get rid of him, on the other hand, I've also worked with Indians that were the complete opposite, very respectful, kind and hard working. One guy lived in one city, went to school (College/University) in another and worked in my small city, it blew my mind at how busy his life was. They're not all bad but it does feel a little odd to see so many in BC

At 9:16, I just had to roll my eyes when the Indian guy said he sees no discrimination there in Brampton. Discrimination usually occurs when a person from one ethnic groups treats somebody from another ethnic group differently, not sure if he knows that!

As a Brampton raised kid, I lived there from 97' till about 2023, I'm caribbean and we have a large indian/muslim/hindu population too on our island. (Trinidad) and the issue with Brampton is: Indian people will gladly intergrade, but Canadian borns won't welcome it. Walk with me- I'll use food for an example. Every other grocery store is middle eastern/asian/african in Brampton and its becomes harder finding more western style food. I love international food, I cook it often but if you're used to burgers and pizza and only know how to make spaghetti it feels like a 'take over' These people want what they want and even though all these places are free for you to also enjoy they don't like it cause it's too 'foreign' to them. It doesn't mean there isnt still a No Frills or a Walmart or Metro, but because the african and halal store are closer and more frequent it seems like more of a convenience to others and not to you. When people say we're multi-cultural, they mean 'yeah he's brown or black but he keeps it to himself' They aren't going to go to that Sikh temple giving free food, and only go to the church at the beginning even though they're welcome to both. It's the same for Diwali and other things, white people dont care to be interested in those things, and just wonder why they get to have it at all. I do agree with that indian lady at the beginning though, with lax immigration you come in feeling like you don't need to do anything to assimilate. They're doing themselves a disservice by only helping themselves. I hate stereotypes being perpetuated onto people but like that Pakistani guy said too, you live in a bubble and you don't pay attention to that. You can go days without speaking english to someone. You can't immigrate somewhere and shut out everyone already there. I get you may not feel welcome by the white people like the ones in the beginning and so you dont mess with them, and its easy not to. But there needs to be openness with helping everyone benefit from multi-culturalism and not just some of us. There are issues with immigrants not wanting to go outside their bubble and for canadians not to want to either, It'll be hard to (with the current issues we're facing as a country) to actually blend together more.

There was a group of middle eastern men at a local gas station a few years ago, and they were getting loud and rude with one of the locals (smaller town,) They weren't long finding somewhere else to be when the local guy made a call and twenty plus guys showed up and advised these men that they were outnumbered and might want to remember that in the future, As they were leaving one of them said, you'll find out when we are the majority in this country. They don't want integration, they want to conquer the country and bring in sharia law and their religion based government.

This is the most biased Canadian propaganda I've ever heard. I was standing in line at city hall in Calgary (paying my past due power bill which I can barely afford, even though I make 40k a year.) and watched a flood of immigrants in front of me claiming their 100% free bus passes. Apparently, you need an authorisation letter from welfare to claim your free bus pass, yet, none of them seemed to have documentation that matched their id. One guy picked up six free bus passes with a stack of letters that didn't match his name, or, even surname, at all. The cashiers seemed like they had just given up and handed over the bus passes saying, "next time make sure the person named in the letter is here to pick it up in their free pass person." <sigh>

Y'all as an Indian I am extremely sorry for the lack of civic sense we export throughout the world. But, I can't ignore the blatant racism in the comments. Every country has it's spectrum of people. India unfortunately has the problematic one's more than the unproblematic one's. I would implore you guys to visit upstate Gurugram, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and the north east. As a First Nation member to treaty 7, it so bad on some reserves that East Indians are trespassing on the reservation and try to give anyone a ride/kidnapped to who knows where. They mainly target indigenous women and children. I know that a member from the community shot at one that was trespassing on reserve land we have weird Municipal laws so the guy who shot didn’t get charged

As someone who comes from latin-america and has been travelling and touristing in Canada for the last 10 + years, and finally decided to take the step to immigrate to Canada through the front door, I can safely say you guys are losing your amazing country. My permit was not approved and you know what, I am not even mad. I see a lot of these people leeching off your government and for some reason they get preferential treatment over people like me who come to do things honestly, work, study, and adding to the country instead leeching from it. Like I said, I first came to Canada a little over 10 years ago, and I am telling you this country is changing for the worse. One thing I also noticed is how back then I always used to hear the memes of Canadians being nice and always saying "sorry". Those memes no longer exist. I know it doesn't say much, but what I am trying to say here is: The quality of the Canadian citizen is 100% decreasing.

Here's my life in canada. denied work. Denied education. both grandmothers, and grandfathers and before that mothers and fathers, defended and fought in the great wars, not by choice proxy and came to canada post ww1 to get away from euro trouble, only for second great war, and most were against forced to join because of direct proxy or relatives being killed. Applied to walmart - denied work applied ot im hortons - denied work applied ot schoos, isntitutions , trade shops, and more, denied work.. When you income is below hte poverty line, and you spending large amounts of time seekngi for a job or working but denied life and work at the same time. It becomes fairly strange. Denied education. 5:30 minutes in guy on the bike is right in some aspects as I’ve worked with a few and they’re slow and take longer to pick things up they do eventually get the hang of things but their work ethic is very low. However with the IQ he is SPOT ON. I’ve literally tested this in and shown immigrants in Canada a picture of Adolf Hitler swastika armband in sight and all and asked them if they knew who he was and I’ve only had ONE immigrant answer correctly, and most of the people I asked were here in Canada on student visas!

As an Indian living in India, I’d say it was your country’s government’s problem and mistake, similar to what the UK is doing now. Aside from government or policies, Indians immigrating to Canada is something that dates back to the British era, when Britain sent a group of Indians, specifically Sikhs, for security or labor work in Canada. This started the trend of Sikhs (turban-wearing ones) moving there. In modern times, the West was richer in terms of education and infra compared to Asia, which attracted many normal students and families immigrants also. Canada and America were built by immigrants, but now things are saturated, which I understand, and that’s where the resentment comes from. The majority Sikh state ( punjab) in India is still behind in development and job wise cooperation, and the historical pattern from the British era of moving to Canada for a better life has become a norm for many young people there. The close, collaborative nature of Sikhs—like a cousin in Canada inviting another cousin from India to come over, open a shop, work together, or share housing—is another reason many don’t hesitate to immigrate. These are some of the reasons behind mass immigration from India. Now, with saturation, the resentment toward immigration has grown. India itself faces issues with immigrants who live off our taxes, take rights meant for native children, and abuse policies, laws, or the environment. At least Canada has better-off immigrants—educated and contributing to the economy. While some may depend on taxes, most are hardworking and self-sufficient; otherwise, Canada’s economy would have collapsed by now. In end i can understand the hatred but you guys should stop this yourselves - not hunting them but prevent more.
