Come & check out Hawkesbury Ontario. Used to be a small town with a few immigrant families here & there, which is totally fine. Now, all sorts of newcomers arriving here with no jobs & no place to live ahead of time. We have some kind of temple that we have no idea what it is and recently an Islamic Centre right on Main Street which we also have no idea what it is really. I could go on & on about this, there are so many strangers here now, walking everywhere, talking on their cellphones and sitting on our Main Street all day long....We try smiling at them or say Hi and they turn their head away from us... We don't recognize our town anymore...

There are more serious reasons, and the total number of temporary work permit holders as a percentage of the Canadian population is just a small fraction, while there is unemployment and crisis around the world, and the impact of Trump’s tariffs. But immigrants are seen as the black sheep and blamed for everything in all agendas of both parties. If the Canadian government wants to limit businesses from hiring temporary work permit workers, they should set a quota for them. Businesses that cannot hire Canadian workers must leave those positions vacant. All companies like Tim Hortons, Metro, Farms, fast food shops, etc. should be banned from hiring temporary permit workers, and any company that hires more than 10% of its staff must be seriously fined. Is it difficult to do? Too easy.

It's completely destroying the Canadian youth employment, aswell. Corporations are being incentivized by the Canadian government to hire temporary foreign workers so our youth unemployment rates have gone up to 15%+. Walk into a McDonald's, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons, etc, and you'll see nothing but Indians or Bangladeshis who barely speak English. In small towns you don't really see this, but in any major city like Vancouver or GTA you will.

Our bloody roads on Vancouver Island are now clogged with all the imports. Not only are they clogged the accident rate has gone up a lot. I'm hitting traffic blockage because of the auto accidents way too often. Never mind the mindset of these people. Now the locals are driving dangerously because it is common for you to get stuck behind these people. People clogging the passing lane, driving under the speed limit or better yet, they randomly hit the brakes on the hyway. which cause things to be dangerous. We are soooo made at what's going on. Everyone seems to not like when these arrivals get jobs in our local town and are ignorant by talking in their language. We have NO doctors anymore and all medical issues have to wait 6 months to get treatment now. 5 times I tried to get bloodwork in our small town. I ended up having to drive to the city to get this done. Twice I've had to do this now.

I remember back in the early 1990s, Toronto. Immigration would kick down your door, raid certain factory, put out Canada wide warrants... But then again it was the Jamaicans, Lucians, or any small island people that suffered the most! 😢😢😢

It's coming to a small town near you.. I'm just glad they decided to fill up brampton before they fill up surrey (which they surely will very soon) When i was a kid, i was annoyed that there were so many chinese where i lived (Richmond, iykyk) but they never really did anything to wrong me. As i grew up i realized they just mind their own business and stay out the way, and generally let their children be pretty liberal (other than the studying). Now, I absolutely LOVE the chinese compared to all the damn indians. There isn't a trend of chinese buying business' then only hiring other chinese. (idk how indians get away with only hiring indians). The indian kids are rude AF usually, tons of wannabe gangsters, TONS of indian gang crime. . And the worst? the ones that live in brampton and surrey treat it like india. THEY treat YOU like a foreigner. I hate em. I just dont understand why immigrants cant just atleast learn the language and customs

There are always two sides of the story. When British and French went from starting trade with indigeneous to brigning their families and settling towns on their land, they must have had the same feeling. Europeans just didn't stop their they openly slaughtered and put small children in residential schools where many lost lives and are still living with generational trauma. India was doing fine before british came in and lynched the economy to feed industrial revolution in west. I have seen Finnish, croatian, greek, polish, italian, german cultural centers and businesses serving their communities in Canada. Can we also say that they should assimilate in Canadian culture? What is even Canadian culture? It is the "The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms", read that thing and the history if you are not familiar. I do acknowledge that there is massive influx of immigrants in a short span which govt. did to compensate for labor needs but they did not invest in infrastructure and orientation of immigrations. I have worked with Canadians in their 60s vs 20s, there was a huge difference in work ethic. My white manager relied on me and my another friend for closing or opening shift than some local preveliged kids. I am in support of deporting illegals but let's educate who are here legally. Collaborate with communities to voice out your concerns and look at the positive impact immigrants have made in past decades.

For a while I lived in a basement room in Brampton as I worked at the airport. Big beautiful house. I had small room with a toilet, neighbours down the hall, no fire exit, no windows... I ran into a deputy fire chief at a library and he said totally illegal but he had to look the other way .... Canadian government policy... There were about 20 people in that single family house... I was the only white guy in the neighbourhood ... They treated my well... Liberal Government brought large numbers to help facilitate the creation of the Klaus Schwab/WEF vision of the NWO... as they will support the team that brought them in unvettted. The Liberal thought is Canada is not a nation state... but part of that Globalists vision/agneda. I guess I might go to jail for saying that eh ????

I am Canadian and this is so upsetting to me I can’t even watch it. Even the small town I live in is being taken over by them. It’s time for a right wing revolution in Canada. So ironic because I remember the days when my fellow Canadians were mad at the influx of well behaved, tax paying, money spending Chinese immigrants around 10-15 yrs ago. Sure they bought up a lot of real estate and contributed to the raising property values, but many of the Canadians benefited from that selling their property for amounts they never even imagined and they created a small economic boom in the GTHA. One thing to highlight with not seeing any homeless Indians in that first seen is not that Indians are causing others to be homeless - rather, they are willing to help family out to prevent homelessness! When we first came here (20+ years ago from Ethiopia), we couldn’t find work and faced homelessness. Our extended family came thru and let the 4 of us stay in a small 1 bedroom in the basement until we could get on our feet. By having a room to be safe in, we avoided a lot of the consequences of homelessness that would have made getting back on our feet exponentially difficult. What I have found shocking now to see as a Canadian of 20+ years is my non-immigrant Canadian friends who will watch quietly as their family members fall under the poverty line and towards homelessness, avoiding inviting them in to not “disrupt their peace” at home. I’ve had random family of friends stay with me in hard times to avoid them being on the street while my generally kind friends (at least to others!) did not take them in. This individualistic mindset of the West really means if you have a low point in life, you will plummet to rock bottom…. Ofc homelessness and poverty is multifaceted but a more collective approach to community would also reduce the burden!

It was so heartbreaking. I traveled to Fort McMurray in Northern Alberta. Small oil boom town. It was over ran by Somolis hanging out on the street corners drinking booze and smoking weed in the middle of the work day. Just learint, jearing and catcalling people.
