Canadian here: 10 yrs ago it was rare to hear a Canadian say something derogatory about another ethnicity beyond the basic complaints about the French or Natives. We have a community about 15 miles west of St. Louis called "Barathaven" that is almost 100% Indian. 7-10k people. Mastercard has a big office here where they work. For the most part, the higher level execs are courteous and accommodating. The lower-level call center employees are absolute trash. Nobody that isn't Indian drives through it because it's an almost guarantee that their car will get damaged.
