I’m a second gen Indian in Canada born in USA. It’s become so us vs them between locals and immigrants, that Im caught in the middle, I belong no where and everywhere. There’s no room for my voice, because I’m no different then any Canadian or American in how I act but nothing separates me from Punjab and Kashmir other than accident of birth and one generation. My English is NE United States, my French Québécois, my Hindi Dehli,Punjabi Jalandar, Urdu Lahori, and Turkish Ankara. I speak six languages and I’m fluent in none, I’m from three countries yet none of them want me. It would be great if more of these types of investigations included our voices, as we’re neither here nor there yet caught in the middle of all of this.

The truth is, the very characteristic that made Canada so loved internationally is being used against us. A country should under NO CIRCUMSTANCE CHANGE THEIR WAYS/CULTURE TO MAKE ANY IMMIGRANT/MIGRANT/ASYLUM SEEKER MORE "COMFORTABLE". Sad to say this but Canada is too "kind" and too liberal for it's own good. They essentially would have a rabid animal gnawing at their leg but would not try to stop it because the animal maybe "scared" or "hungry" or don't want to hurt it's feeling or something. If Canadians do no protect it's values and culture by restricting and massively reducing integration and not hesitating to deport criminal immigrants, the very soul and identity of this beautiful country will be gone FOREVER (some would already say that already happened)!! That's why I respect Poland so much, they said NO to mass migration by way of asylum seekers, regardless of the backlash from the EU, but that's why unlike those other countries that did the mass migration, Poland remains one of if not the safest European country and best of all, KEPT THEIR IDENTITY!!!

Don’t know about Canada, but in US, Indians are the richest ethnic groups. Canada does attract lesser skilled Indians. However, pretty sure Indians contribute more than their share of taxes. You guys can keep on hating but all the western countries need Indians as that’s where the population is. And people work hard. They are invited. >99% Indians immigrate legally. They’re abiding by rules laid by these countries. Up to these countries to decide the rules.

canada is getting very close to having more than half of their newborns be first-generation immigrants from india. in a couple short generations, it will be impossible for canadians to win any sort of election, vote, nomination, poll, etc etc. these people and their beliefs do not work in western society. they want to overrun the population (with religion as an excuse) so they can take control and begin dismantling western culture. soon all of canadas laws and protections will defend the invasions and open their boarders wide open. western society and it's values are in grave danger. they're going to use our system against us. its happening right in front of your eyes. time to wake up. these people aren't coming to canada and the states in search of a better life or the american dream. they do not want to assimilate and they refuse our values. they are here because they want their own country, and they're very close to having it. these people were chanting DEATH TO THE WEST, DEATH TO AMERICA the day they flew over.

Canada's post-pandemic Indian migrants definitely do not hail from India's upper class. Most of the recent arrivals are from towns and villages in Punjab, Gujarat and Haryana, i.e. India's "Wild West". India's upper class usually migrates directly to the US, UK, UAE and Singapore. Canada and Australia used to be popular destinations, but there's so many lower class Indians in Canada and Australia that neither country is sought after by the richer Indians now.

Two generations ago (50-60 years ago) the Indians who came to Canada, with no family in Canada had excellent qualifications. They had to come with jobs waiting for them in universities, engineering firms, architectural firms and hospitals. The students were Masters or Ph.D. with full scholarship. They went on to build the country but they were minorities fighting the occasional racism on the street (as the woman in the green t- shirt says). Today, as a result of Trudeau's naïveté about the level of corruption in India, there's a huge influx of relatively unqualified Indians arriving and not being able to assimilate into Canadian society because they do not have good job qualifications. They end up living in ghettos and turn to crime. We must fix that by being much more selective of Indian immigrants. As someone of the Indian diaspora, I'd also like to say that there are those Indo Canadians ("brown folks") who want nothing to do with the Brampton or Surrey ghettos. Many of us are completely secular, having no religion and share nothing with these people fighting around temples and yelling at each other in Punjabi or Hindi. We speak English and French and vote in the elections.

Sovereignty is the concept and practice that got us to where we are as a species belonging to countries. Somehow our political leadership decided that sovereignty was no longer a thing and Trudeau simply said "C'mon over..." Our path forward is to purge our nation of illegal immigrants, PRs that aren't hitting the metrics, students with expired visas and of course criminals who are not Canadians. Once we've cleaned house we need to treat our country like the prize that it can be and only invite in those who fit in with our psyche and economic needs. Just because someone shows up at our border doesn't mean that they belong in Canada.

NGOs are helping people find a path to come to the West. The west is just being used and the fraud has more than tripled. I’m getting letters from Canada in the US telling me to contact them because I have a dead relative that left me money 😆 2020 and covid plandemic had several purposes. While Americans were being laid off they were flying in migrants from 5 different countries to take our jobs. The elites are playing people like a fiddle. I grew up in Brampton and I immigrated from India in the early 2000s, one thing that's not mentioned is the recent (2024) riots between Sikhs and Hindus. When I was growing up in Brampton, I had friends who were Sikhs, Pakistani Muslims, Chinese Christians, Hindus, Black, and White. The Sikh seniors used to say good morning to us on the morning walks to school and everyone got along because we accepted that bringing the racial/ethnic conflict from India to Canada was wrong. Recently, there have been tensions, fights, riots, and clashes between Hindu and Sikh Nationalists because the government is not actively filtering for quality immigrants anymore and the people being lured to this country are the ones who can't understand that this is wrong. This would have been unheard of 10 years ago.

While the end result is the actual "immigrant", you can tell these new immigrants all day and night to go back to their country... The immigrant themselves will be looking at you like... Huh? Why? Not understanding why people say that to them. Folks, the Trudeau/Carney Gov was the problem all along. Trudeau's campaign on bringing 500,000 a year made this a field day for everyone around the world... Furthermore the campaigns they would have in other countries to literally sell the idea for them to apply to become an immigrant in Canada. The libs are 100% responsible for what is happening now... For me to tell an immigrant, the he/she is not wanted here is not relevant... The government sold them the pitch to come here for a better life.... Trudeau allowed other loopholes to happen too.... Migrants through applying to colleges and universities, migrants through the liberal foreign work program and the list goes on. Now we have a problem and everyone sees it.... The question is what do we do as Canadians... I exercised my vote for blue...but we still had a majority of liberal supporters which was not just surprising but it seemed that people think Conservatives are bad people who are racist and want to follow trumps steps... i begged to differ.... I think what many of us are aiming for is a cleaning up of liberal policies... And stop immigration from ALL PLACES. Allow Canada to re-coop, reestablish and redevelop what it always was.

Its sad cause there are lovely people from both india and china here that want to live and thrive in canada and be canadian, they dont want the country they left. But for some reason liberal politicians think they need to bring in people from these places who hate us and want to change things. I feel bad for the people who came here to be here genuinely. Nobody can afford anything here now because of being overrun

Discuting! There is family who were in Québec for 2-3 years and learn french, have a job and there children go to school and now are afraid to be deported! It is unfair because they were in a program who said that come to Canada and you will have citizenship if you adapt to our country. We change the rules in middle of the program!!! Those people left everything to come to our country! It's an honor for us that they choose to come here. We need people for specific jobs and send them back??? That is looking like Trump manner!!! The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.

Our families have been here from India since 1887 in Canada. Our parents came here 1965. We suffered racism and pathed the way for the newcomers. The difference is that our parents came the right way with a sponsorship. These newcomers think they are better than us. We couldn't afford a car for years. These newcomers are rolling in sports cars as soon as they land. They haven't suffered hardship like we did here. Please don't put us on the same level as them. I know some that have come here and really worked their way up to adapt here. The government needs to stop giving out free handouts to the ones that are abusing our country.

I actually like Indian folks, but there are simply too many of them in western countries and there is no sign of the flood stopping, there is essentially an infinite amount of them. In the US they have become the second-largest immigrant group in many states. The only reason you can use the term Immigrant is because the govt issued visas. But that being said the govt fast tracked the usual immigrant process which takes months to years. So in actuality this is not legitimate immigrants. It's unlawful what the govt has done and therefore these people are immigrants under cover of law. Or color of law. It's defacto. To add to this complexity, over 300,000 Canadian travel documents have been stolen from CBSA Canadian Border Services Agency. 280,000 of those were blank Canadian passports. Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I mean, we are the first generation with cell phones so things aren’t gonna go well for the first generation so I hope to see change in the next, but I really hate the racism. Because at the end of the day, this world belongs to all of us. I’m married to a Punjab. And I’m very thankful I met him feel like a lot of Canadian men. Have become victims to the red pill ideology or cell phones are really just becoming a part of their ideologies. Indian families bring back real love and authenticity. My only problem is the criminals that are coming into the country that are hurting people when we already have enough problems in our own country.
