As someone who lived in Brampton for several years, I learned that in the Indian culture they must look out for their own first. As a Black person looking to rent a place, it was extremely disheartening (I’m experiencing racism from people darker than me?!). Eventually one landlord told me what was up - they must help their own people and essentially only rent to other Indian people. You see it in all the companies where you have an Indian hiring manager - they are biased to employing only their own. I was left no choice but to leave Brampton.

Indians are very ethno-centric. When they get in a place, they only hire fellow Indians. That's what's happening in the tech industry in the US.

I'm Canadian and can't find a job. I've been looking for over a year and a half. Companies aren't hiring Canadians. How could our own government do this to us? They've killed Canada.

Immigration is a scam. There's very little, if any, economic benefit from immigration, and what benefit there is has been shown to almost always be captured by those who hired immigrants and the immigrants themselves, while passing on all the economic, social, and environmental burdens to our poor communities. Let's face it, immigration is a transfer of money from labor to capital it's about 3 things: profit, power, and punishment. We need to have an immigration moratorium. We also need to focus on re-migration for those who do not assimilate. Of course, none of this will happen until immigration becomes a problem for those at the top who have been pushing it down our throats for decades.

These comments are jokes … I’m a born and raised Canadian who’s parents came here in the 1960 to British Columbia , Brampton is beautiful city a lot of this hate towards it is just racism .. go to Markham filled with Chinese’s who’s stores names are written in their language they even had police station setup , go to Mississauga area filled with Arabs, go to parkdale filled with Philippines and Tibetan … every city in this country has sub section of communities and if people have issue with immigration go and complain to the government that’s allowing it to happen by selling false dreams … immigration is open to anyone as long as you have the money to support your stay here along with the necessary paperwork… plus half of the people complaining about jobs go and ask manager why they hire international kids .. cause they actually show up to work since they gotta work had to pay for high cost of living.. unlike most of the Canadian born kids that will call in sick cause they stayed up until 3 playing video games , it has nothing to do with skin color but work ethics

Working cash under the table, check out bakeries, factories, etc. Tons of these foreign students on permits not only renew their permits for cash earning, they go part time to school instead of full time just to earn money in order to stay longer in Canada and America. Bakeries in Toronto hire a lot of them through private employment agencies and pay them cash under the table. In other words, they just apply for permits so they can work and say screw education 😂

They only hire other Indians

I'll tell you..it completely reversed any convenient food I might occasionally purchase to zero.. goods bought is only in local storesthat hire locals. That said canadians have more in common with Indians than Muslims..by far.

They are not missing, Indian everywhere , they are working at Walmart and Tim Hortons and all the cell phone retail outlets especially when the supervisor and manager are Indian, they will only hire their Indian friends and relatives.

Tim Hortons hires almost exclusively Indian workers on a Temporary Foreign Worker visa. Which is just a way to scam Canadians out of jobs in Canada

This country is full of colleges that hand out diplomas for everything. next thing you know, there’ll be a degree in ass-wiping, who is responsible ? Ministry of Education, Immigration or both? The CRA also needs to investigate the benefits some employers, especially large corporations, are abusing. They receive massive tax breaks for hiring students, yet some of these students barely work or are barely given shifts.

Once an Indian gets to the top they will only hire other Indians to top positions.

You know what too...If Canadians was too go to India I wouldn't be able to bring my Canadian/Caribbean Culture there..I look at it like this his your moving to another Country I'm gonna adapt to The Culture and Lifestyle..Im not gonna bring my Old Ways that I wanted to leave to a New Country and Life...I feel like its not Canadians being Racist it's that they came here and The Government and Businesses are Catering to them From Adding Specific Food Items to cater to them most Jobs are by passing others to hire them...And on top of that Canadians are dealing with Food Cost being High still and Working a Job and still not making else to live a decent Life...Seems like most people are Working to Survive and Pay Bill and don't even have enough to atlest go out and have a peace of mind and have a Social Life...There brought in all these Immigrants to The Country while The Country was basically under a Recession...And this Problem is not getting Fixed now and it seems like it's getting worst..To the point I feel like a Civil War could even break out I this don't get Fixed somehow and someway... When local college graduate 10000 graduated students then They bring 10000 temporary workers for the same field , Crazy the citizens whom graduated have no job and face disadvantage crisis for paying their student loan ,Omg But those temporary get hired instantly becuse they have full support from government but sadly the citizens who graduated local college zero support plus they get rejected instantly lol. And we still paying the temporary workers salary with student loan, Please check Non profit rmployment around the country Calgary tempore worker have more full time job than locsl citizens in Non profit sector working as social services center. My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. It’s not even immigration at this point it’s just a full take over and a blatant disrespect for our country. Don’t follow the rules, aren’t compliant , protesting that Canadians don’t respect them and that they should stay there even if the visa is up, demanding money, buying all businesses and blatantly not hiring Canadians because they aren’t of a certain race. It’s extremely disrespectful and we need to start sticking up for the people of this country and have tighter rules and regulations to get in. Disappointed in our country…we’ve failed. What happened to the old school immigrants that would come in work hard build wealth and have pride in moving to Canada. It’s really the younger generation of immigrants that are entitled and stupid. And this is coming from a young person. Some of the immigrants (if you know you know) aren’t even that good at their job, they careless do it half ass and expect tips and that certain details will go unnoticed because they didn’t earn the job they just showed up and were handed the job.

Indians have been in Canada for a very long time. Many came from Punjabi closer to colonial times. The racism in the comments is inexcusable. People of all different backgrounds commit crimes , public nuisances, etc. and the complaining of dominating every industry? I’m not sure what angle that is. Maybe the other groups should do better at dominating industries or advocate for businesses to hire other Canadians (equal opportunity employment). And the whole “ cow poop video” Tyler posted is one village in India ; which of course makes Indians collectively look bad and gives way for many of you in the comments to continually perpetuate this idea that Indians are sub-human. And Tyler, word of advice, if you’re going to show parts of the Indian community and Hinduism religion in Canada — at least learn to pronounce words correctly so you don’t sound like a complete idiot.
