You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. But after trudeau with mass immigration and them taking over other cities its when it became a little too much and started to take over canadian culture. I had a friend visit from the u.s for the very first time, and we did some sight seeing, you know going to places around ontario that tourists would check out, went to niagra falls for the first time in maybe 10 years man it changed. It was 90% Indian people. She noticed it right away but didnt say anything, i said a lot of indians huh? and she said yeah didnt think canada was like this. When you think Canada its always been mulicultural, you just think of all ethnicities and people of different cultures but at the end of the day everyone was Canadian and they assimilated. Now you dont think of a multicultural country you think of an indian country thats changing the canadian culture and way of life and not in a good way. Identity is being taken away and it needs to stop. Canada needs to take notes from Poland before its too late. Poland closed their doors and guess what? economy went up, crime rate went down, people are happier. Canada opened the doors, crime rate shot up, economy crashing, more homelessness then ever and so on. Not saying its specifically Indian people, its the amount coming in and how they adopt canadian culture but instead bring their culture and trye changing the country to fit them rather then fitting in with an already established country and culture.

Please deport those involved. As a former landed immigrant turned Canadian citizen years ago, I urge the Canadian government to arrest and deport everyone involved in such behaviour. This country must remain peaceful and save for everyone. When we come to Canada we must intend to help build and maintain a stable society not tear the country apart and put others at risk. I remember when my family immigrated here over 15+ years ago and my brother was only 1 years old. 2 weeks after coming here he slipped on the floor and cut open his forehead on the hinges of our door and he was bleeding everywhere (he later had to get 6 stitches to fix it), my father was out working and we didn't know how to contact the police or hospital because we didn't have a home phone yet. We used our neighbors and the ambulance came and I strictly remember that because we didn't have our health cards yet they wouldn't start work even though my father said he will pay when he gets there. I remember my mother and I feeling helpless while my 1 year old brother was bleeding out (the hospital staff tried to stop the bleeding with cotton ball and bandage) and I distinctly remember that they did not start helping my brother even WHILE my father was paying but only started work after the bill was completed. Even though my family felt helpless at that time and we felt it was unfair, we never blamed Canada because it was their policy and they have every right to follow protocols. So it makes me angry to see people who walked into our country illegally getting far better treatment than my family ever got even though it might not be anything as life threatening as ours was. It makes me angry that our hard earned tax dollars are used to help people who have no motivation to help the country that gave them asylum during war.. It's actually the opposite as a lot of these families call their free housing "disgusting" and compare it to "living like a slave". I'm angry because little girls at my brothers own school are getting shoved and assaulted by refugee boys as young as 6-7 and are let off with a simple "don't do that again" and a meeting with the parents. This is not the Canada my family came to love and call home so I can't imagine the hardships of Canadians who are living here for 3, 4, 5+ generations 😔😔

Good. Canada does not have enough jobs for its own. All those people unemployed & on social assistance can now take those jobs given to foreigners - especially with minimum wage being so high now. Employers need to employ people within, not outside the country!!!! All these jobs held by foreigners are draining Canada of $$$ because they are not putting their earnings back into the economy, they are sending it back home. Whereas, Canadians invest right back into our own economy. We buy & invest in Canada.

I think due to the prosperity and stability Canada has enjoyed for so long Canadians have developed a certain standard of living and expectations in regards to that. So no, we don't want to have to work 2-3 minimum wage paying jobs to get by, no we don't want to live 4 or more to a 400 sqft studio apartment, yes we want to be able to afford our own homes, yes we want to be able to achieve a stable middle class lifestyle. That doesn't work for the crony capitalists who's greed and lust for power always needs satiating. So we have the Liberal government bringing in more immigrants than we have infrastructure to accommodate in an effort to keep wages down so profits can always be up. Immigrants who are willing to accept a lower quality of life than what most Canadians expect/accustom to because it's still superior to where they came from. So the quality of life for all Canadians is exponentially reduced. We are to accept a lower quality of life and if we resist then we are branded with all kinds of derogatory names; racist, xenophobe, fascist, unacceptable fringe, far-right extremists, et al. What's undeniable is that before the Liberals took power in 2015 we had an immigration system in Canada that worked quite well and that since the Liberals took power our immigration system is a destructive mess. This isn't by accident or incompetence, it's intentional, by design. Unfortunately Canada has a problem with so much of our population being ideologically blind, willingly ignorant, easily manipulated, cowardly staying in an abusive relation with our current oppressive government. Question is can the country be saved before too much damage is done?

And the also get 25,000 tax free dollars to set up their house …I never got that! and they also get the child tax free benefit too…..if they have 8-10kids wow ..they are making over six figures tax free ..free dental, free RX….I have to work hard for that! No freebies for the hard working Canadian tax payers! No wonder they all want to come to Canada …the land of milk and honey and easy money…why work? The old Dutch guy in the interview was right. When my father applied to bring us to Canada, we went through many tests and procedures, police checks from back home, and even from the FBI to prove we had never been to North America and the process lasted almost a year and a half. No money was given to our family, my dad was working our step mother was working; but now all these immigrants get in quick and free. I have a friend that works for a bank and he tells me people who can't even speak English or French show up and deposit government cheques for 30 or 40 thousand dollars. What about Canadians born and raised here, some need help, they don't get big cheques. There has to be a stop to all this influx of people coming from other countries who have it really easy once they're here, thanks to the government. I'm not anti-immigration, as I'm an immigrant myself, but this BS has to stop.

For _years_, thoughtful and well-meaning people have been showing the evidence that massive over-immigration was detrimental to Canada. They were rewarded by being called r-ists and xenophobes. Turns out that, actually, they were right. Canada needs, right now, a 100% moratorium on all immigration for at least three years to allow infrastructure and health care to catch up. After that, a very slow and gradual increase to maximim 1% current population levels, with a strict focus on STEM and health care grads. Not their parents and grandparents and great aunts. And if any of them breaks the Canadian criminal code, they are deported within 24 hours.

Why do people become more fanatic after they immigrate to Canada? I don’t think so they have that much right on their back home.

Our families have been here from India since 1887 in Canada. Our parents came here 1965. We suffered racism and pathed the way for the newcomers. The difference is that our parents came the right way with a sponsorship. These newcomers think they are better than us. We couldn't afford a car for years. These newcomers are rolling in sports cars as soon as they land. They haven't suffered hardship like we did here. Please don't put us on the same level as them. I know some that have come here and really worked their way up to adapt here. The government needs to stop giving out free handouts to the ones that are abusing our country.

I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.
