I'm a Canadian, I was born here, who knows what generation Canadian I am - my ancestors were here long before Canada was a country, later they fought for the British (one naughty son fought for the "rebels" americans and was in jail for 5 years), the monarchy granted them 100 acres in the Niagara region which was farmed by a line of my family until the 1980s when the last of that direct line sold which is tragic. blah blah - Canadian. ANYWAY - I love other people, other cultures, every immigrant that spoke in this video I welcome with open arms, would befriend, share a meal with etc. I grew up working with many people from Pakistan and India who were escaping really scary situations, worked their butts off to be part of this country, learn the language, save for a home - live a safe and happy life. Whether you're a first or 50th generation Canadian - you come here and you adapt to our wonderful way - you're a freaking Canadian. That's not happening right now. Like the video said, it's a math problem. One of my largest concerns is that now all these wonderful Canadians who have been here for a long ass time, worked their butts off to be part of the family will now be subject to violence, harassment and racist comments because this population bomb has misrepresented their intentions entirely.

Indias work hard in every sector so people see them all the time and they think Indians are going to take over and they are real problem But real problems is Ukraine and refugees from everywhere who get free houses and live on welfare and even they get free dental.They are living on Canadian tax payer money. Immigrants don’t get any government help plus visa and other requirements are still there Internet is just home of negativity and full of misinformation.

I am a Canadian born and bred. I ask these questions, could we, as Canadians, go to India or China or any other country to live and act the way these people do, say the things that they say and get away with it. Do you think I, as a white Canadian, could go to India (for example)and demand they change their traditions and religions because it doesn't suit me? Everybody knows the answer is no. I would be jailed or kicked out of the country quickly. So why do you expect to come to my country and change our ways and our traditions? It's ridiculous.

The mere fact your ancestors arrived here 2-3 generations back, doesn't offer entitlement as owner of the land. Do you remember how many slaves European Colonizers have killed? King Leopold, Algerian war of Independence against France, how many African slaves lost their lives to build the Congo-Ocean Railway? Spanish demolition of Aztec and Inca empire in South America, did you remember the Encomienda system?! Why did Taino people vanish on Caribbean Island?! Portuguese forced labor policies in Angola, Mozambique?? Millions of them lost lives to fight against Portuguese colonizers. Then our favorite East India Company, the British empire where Sun Never Set. They decimated India, Australian Aboriginal, New Zealand Māori and Red Indians, native Americans who migrated to America from Asia long back. How many natives' indigenous populations countries after countries, continent after continent, their father mother daughter son wife husband grandparents your ancestors have killed???? Do you have any count????? In this civilized world no Supremacists be it Right or Left wing, especially Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin like White Supremacist have no place anymore, you have done enough good for the world. I am an Indian. I request the people in all the developed countries of the world to make extremely tough emigration laws, so that the people who are legally acquiring citizenship of your country are not dependent on the taxes paid by the original residents of those countries. Plain, simple and honest. Now, if you are allowing every tom, dick and harry from any country to live in your country, then the chances would be high that, unproductive/criminals of the other country to start to get citizenship. Please DO NOT blame entire India for changing the demographic landscape of Canada, or any other developed country. Please make extremely tough laws, like in USA, to sift out the unwanted people. India is dirty, everyone knows. Indians are corrupt, everyone knows. So, please allow ONLY young Indians who are smart/hardworking enough, who can win a Nobel prize/Olympic Medal/set up businesses, for Canada, to take the citizenship of Canada.Take example of Dubai. Lawmakers of Dubai are intelligent/honest. Please......

Immigration technically is an asset for a country like Canada, however the open door policy turned that asset into a liability. When you have a migrant community congregate into ghetto like fashion, you know your policy has failed somewhere. Psychologically speaking human would naturally gravitate towards people they have similarities(language, color, likes & dislikes, etc) with and congregate as a "tribe" for warmth & security. Just put one white person alone in the middle of an Indian market at rush hour, i promise you they'd run to the first white person they spot for "security", now tell that one guy that he has to live in India for the foreseeable future and that he has a choice of living in any area of that city and he learns that there a part of town where most of the white people live, where do you think he'll go?

Thank Justin Trudeau for this. I was born here in Ottawa and live in low income housing. I worked since 16 years of age times have changed. Immigrants need to be sent back. All the people from India have taken jobs at Esso, Shell, Tim Hortons. Citcle K, McDonald's, Walmart!!!

As an Indian living in India with no plans to leave my motherland , let me tell you these guys from Punjab claiming they were suppressed in India are running an immigration scam . Claiming asylum on the grounds of political persecution as soon as their boat lands on Canadian shores .

stop immigration system or atleast put country cap system. Indians are turning canada into India. The companies now only hire indians because of cheap labor or going offshore. I work ina company and 60percent are from india, sometimes i feel living in india than in canada

They have spread throughout All the Provinces of Canada!!! I live in N.B and half the businesses here are Indian(India) owned now . Over the past 12-14yrs, the amount of people from Foreign countries around this county and just a cpl more surrounding us has went up 20 fold! ALOT of Indian(Computer Indian, Not the Indians that have Always been here and should rightfully own it) owned companies around here now. No apartments to rent around here anymore, and the ones you find have the rent jacked up to crazy amounts! I get along with all the ones I know. Nice , hard working people. My Dr. Is from India now too!

Yeah as a Canadian who lives in the Greater Toronto Area, I can appreciate how immigration as a concept is good. But Canada is at a point now where a large influx of immigrants are shocking our economy and dropping our quality of life. And the majority of these immigrants come from one country. No hate to India, as a half Indian myself, but when you bring these people over in droves, they feel it unnecessary to assimilate as they all coalesce with each other - where they feel comfortable. So you have the majority of them who don't speak our language, who don't carry our values, and don't feel that any of it is required. And it makes you feel, as a Canadian like you're being taken over. We want a lower immigration rate, and we want a greater spread of people from across the world. I don't want Canada to become India.

Keep Canada Canada do not change it into india please. If we want India we go to India. When I visit Canada I wanna visit Canada not India. Live free there practice your religion and traditions, but respect canadians and do not turn their country into India, please...

Lot of people....the original citizens feel the burn since the world around them is changing. It's natural that they harbor these ill feelings. Most of them are ill informed and have these racist views. It's true for every immigrant community that emigrated from Europe as well. You have Irish immigrant towns, little Italy's, China towns, little India's, polish neighborhoods in Chicago etc ...these kind of neighborhoods are all over north America (USA & Canada). This is natural. Assimilation happens in 1 or 2 generations. Economic expansion and fulfilling social security benefits for the older generation needs population growth and a new younger workforce. This is achieved thru immigration of skilled labor force of all kinds. Population dynamics and demographics keep changing all the time and it has happened thru out human history. Now we are living in an interconnected and inter dependent world. It's better to adapt to change and move on and retain your loyalty to the country they migrated to and contribute positively to their economy and try to assimilate as much as possible and be aware of the sensitivities. This new immigration is from Asia and they are of different ethnicities and cultural background unlike european immigration that happened earlier. So some backlash to these new people's is to be expected and there will be lot of scapegoating and stereotypical epithets that will employed to demonize the new immigrant groups. We all have to adjust assimilate and move on in this great circle of life.

its not an invasion. go look at india at the situation they are in. the living conditions are horrible there, and when people look at countries, the go to big countries for jobs. ofc theres going to be a lot. not an invasion, just people trying to have a better life, and everyone hating on them for it.

Basically all you did was amplify racist voices , you did no research of your own. Had no numbers on how much taxes the city of brampton collects but had to show a clip of people saying they dont pay taxes. You had no numbers on how much food the gurudwaras and temples donate. All you were opposed to were large number of people from india living together. Isn't that what happens in every immigrant community. Chinatown in SanFranscisco , Little Italy in Manhattan , Little Havana in Florida.

I just came from there about a week and a half ago and im originally from o puerto rico living in FL and went into a store to buy diapers for my son and it was all India even the signs in Indian and I really felt like an alien as everyone looked at me like I was not from this planet lol not to offend anyone but I won't be back any time soon.

25 years ago we immigrated to Canada. And I want to continue living in Canada, not in India or Palestine that iCanada is turning into due to domination of culture of new uncontrolled flow of migrants.
