What do you mean why? If the population of white people is shrinking that's something to be concerned about but i assume most people immigrants in Canada are legal and if there are illegal people its the governments fault. I like that the video was covering all aspects of the story and differing opinions but the only grievance i saw was racism, other things can be tackled by application of law. And most immigrants would be afraid to break the law.

Decades of conflict led individuals to immigrate for better opportunities. We don’t need someone outside from Brampton coming in to provoke our community. Lot of people....the original citizens feel the burn since the world around them is changing. It's natural that they harbor these ill feelings. Most of them are ill informed and have these racist views. It's true for every immigrant community that emigrated from Europe as well. You have Irish immigrant towns, little Italy's, China towns, little India's, polish neighborhoods in Chicago etc ...these kind of neighborhoods are all over north America (USA & Canada). This is natural. Assimilation happens in 1 or 2 generations. Economic expansion and fulfilling social security benefits for the older generation needs population growth and a new younger workforce. This is achieved thru immigration of skilled labor force of all kinds. Population dynamics and demographics keep changing all the time and it has happened thru out human history. Now we are living in an interconnected and inter dependent world. It's better to adapt to change and move on and retain your loyalty to the country they migrated to and contribute positively to their economy and try to assimilate as much as possible and be aware of the sensitivities. This new immigration is from Asia and they are of different ethnicities and cultural background unlike european immigration that happened earlier. So some backlash to these new people's is to be expected and there will be lot of scapegoating and stereotypical epithets that will employed to demonize the new immigrant groups. We all have to adjust assimilate and move on in this great circle of life.

Don't blame immigrants it's government that is allowing all these things

The guy complaining about his neighbors being naked has no shirt. The crowding is due to uncontrolled immigration; which is why the houses are so expensive and there are many people in the same house. Dont bring people in at high rates.

It's because Indian culture is pretty distant from the Western culture, even Asians, Africans, Arabs, Latinos could assimilate if they're educated and progressive enough but for Us it's pretty hard as we don't really have a common ground. Despite preaching 'World is one family' we aren't really inclusive.We like to be the frog of the well & those who does they usually act entitled or annoying. As a Bengali Indian that's what I observe after past 3 years of living in Dubai where Indian immigrants make 40% of it's population.

I did not vote lib, and I tried to warn others But. It fell on deaf ears. I pray that we all stand together against this irresponsible government. Its going to be a very cold winter. Many immigrants won't like it, especially when the hydro crashes. No heat or electricity. Hope they go back where they came from for their own good.

I love the voices of new immigrants who support Canada but they are not all. Many come just to take advantage. Those are the ones I fear. The ones who plan to take over and spread violence. I find Indian and Chinese are hardworking honest people but there will always be thieves and bad people among every culture. We need to reduce the quanity and increase the quality of the ones we allow here. We need to support our own first.

It's true though. I couldn't get a job for over two years, I applied EVERYWHERE, they would say they're not hiring, then a week later I'll see a new worker or two being trained and guess what? they're indian/punjab (sorry, unsure all the proper terms of people or the differences). Not to mention that they treat indigenous women the way they would back home.... Pretty much every person I know (I'm indigenous and have experienced it myself) has experienced some sort of harassment or assault or whateva with them... And yes, I know it's not all of them, I also know some great people that are indian/punjab but I'm not going to act like there isn't a problem....... Then people think indigenous people get "hand outs"... I was broke for over two years, I tried welfare, it's not as easy as it seems to people lol Also, I'm sure I'm wrong, but I always assumed Immigration was like... reserved for people that need it kind of like refugees.
