I'm with the guy in the vest...I can deal with an Indian invasion over Muslim/African any day! We've had a huge Indian influx in our area and though they usually group together, they at last largely assimilate even if their yards don't say it! Not to mention do this same interview in a largely Muslim area and see how the people react if you don't have a body guard!

I grew up in Edmonton in a very Indian part of town. It's not "Indian people " not at All!! Maybe mass migration is an issue, but it's not Indians. Maybe immigration scams but trust me, every Indian I lived with was civically minded. Blame the scams ...not the people! That's the federal governments fault!! Indian people have lived here for decades and in the UK. Unfortunately the scams have hurt the community!! (Even listen to the people in the interviews. Some of the best people I've met, and they ARE part of my community. I do worry about the scams but that's it)

Even Indian Canadians that were born here don't want these immigrants. When people from their own ethnicity don't want them here, that says a lot. As someone who spent years working in public maintenance and sanitation, I know first-hand who the least hygienic people are, and there is no contest. Indians are at the top of that list. This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. The thing about India is they only focus on white collar work and this is enforced in their culture and education system. This country of ~1.45 BILLION people (India) vs a population of ~41.3 million people (Canada) looks at white collar work as the only respectable work, sometimes because of their caste system. That's why a lot of poor Indians bathe in contaminated waste water and you see garbage all over the streets. Yet India has some remarkable engineers and mathematicians out of the human species and their billionaires living ~100 meters from the poorest. Second, Indians worship bartering or negotiating for everything even with a set price. saw a group of Indians upset with the price of entry in apple orchard and start arguing with the cashier trying to negotiate the price (my most recent experience). It's just a very different culture that only wants their own from education to even marriage. It's not gonna work with Western values

I know some folks, including my neighbour, who immigrated to Canada right after high School — they take services of immigration agents who have contacts with diploma mills there, get a student visa citing enrollment in a sham educational degree, join a minimum wage job and rig the whole process to attain PR & then citizenship — essentially giving low skilled, poorly assimilated labour the citizenship in Canada under guise of skilled or educated immigration. Even as an Indian, the whole situation is insane and astounding to say the least. Hindu Nationalism has spread its roots & conducts marches in Canada within the Indian Hindu areas like they do here in India and people have started performing river aartis as well (communal prayers to worship rivers) — all kinds of pernicious identitarianism is festering there. A ton of Indian immigrants now see Canada merely as a source to better life & resources, but relate to, & are patriotic towards India or assert their rawer religious Sikh or Hindu identity due to lack of any assimilatory pressure & absence of a well defined Canadian identity. Funniest part is Indians, esp Hindus, who vote for hindu nationalists ushering majoritarian policies in India, cheer for persecution of minorities and justify caste system, suddenly co-opt liberalism & decietfully use its talking points to defend their position as a minority in places they migrate to (they do not believe in so, and don't apply the same standards to themselves).
