As a indian my self i found saying "proud canadian " from a indian is really weird cringy they are not even inviting you and all of they just tryn hard to associate with them either make india better or live here there is no need to move out HIndus are already started birthcontrols being aware is just all we need thats it i think whites or native people are right because no one likes sudden changes !! I lived in Brampton for 25 years, so I would like to weigh in. We definitely have an extremely large indian population here. There are a lot of upsides and downsides to that. Some of my best friends are Indian immigrants, some of the people I hate the most are also indian immigrants. With any large group of people, you will always have examples of exceptionally nice people, but also horrible people. Something I noticed a lot recently is that newer immigrants are a lot less interested in learning about Canadian culture, norms, and integration. A lot of my longtime indian friends learnt the Canadian culture, Canadian norms, and wish to work with Canadians. They celebrate christmas, are respectful and polite, and are otherwise outstanding Canadian Citizens. A lot of the newer problems in Brampton can make it unattractive for others. Lots of loud music blaring, street racing waking you up at 4am in the morning, fireworks at 3am for no apparent reason, etc.

Dont know about canada but we Indians live rent-free in canadians heads. I've never been to canada, nor even thought about that country much in my life up until i started meeting many canadians on the internet who lose it on me for no reason at all. The most hateful people i have met online have been canadians. I have talked to american gr0ypers online on platforms like discord and omegle etc... and they've been more respectful, polite and friendly than so called "liberal" canadians. Some of them i even befriended. This is sad. What a sorry state it would be to live in one of these canadians mind. Filled with hate against one particular peoples. All of this hate that i have received will only make me definitely avoid to visit canada at all costs!

I am disgusted by what Canada has become. The government has allowed a free for all to take place without checks and balances for their own profit…whether it’s votes for political mileage, money that is being invested by certain people groups that will help enrich the pockets of government or whatever the reason - has caused this country to descend to the dumps st a rate faster than it takes to say ‘Oh Canada’. As an immigrant, I have seen the degeneration within the country (particularly Toronto & GTA) in 10 years. Sometimes it feels like you’re in a different country, with a different language other than English or French, individuals who refuse to adopt the traditional Canadian lifestyle, who are allowed in with little value for system and order, allowed to procreate and ‘raise’ children who don’t appreciate the Canadian values, both born and immigrants using crime as their currency to their warped perception of wealth and an whole history of issues that impact the lives of the average law and culturally abiding citizen. Oh there’s so much more that can be said about the state of this nation, but if there are bold-faced chants about who will be ruling Canada by 2060, those that have the power to do something need to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION. That is not just wishful thinking. That is a threat that will come to pass if a blind eye and a deaf ear is turned which, the government seems bent on doing. A word to the wise is sufficient.

As a Canadian born to immigrants, the emphasis of 'temporary foreign worker' is on 'temporary'. Its highly immoral for immigrants to be scapegoated for the greed of corporations wanting cheap slave labour, and for colleges to reap the benefit of a broken student visa loophole to immigration, to the detriment of all Canadians. This loophole has remained open for long enough, at the behest of lobbyists and politicians to use for talking-points at election time, but everyone is glad someone is finally doing something about it. I am a Jamaican descendant born Canadian and I am homeless living on the street. The irony is, I am great with money and have been working since a child at 13. I haven't taken vacations or time off. The system has failed me tremendously. I was denied second stage and transitional housing 3 times with out reason. I was discharged from shelters where I was the only one working on my betterment while others continued with poor habits such as depression, laziness and addictions. I wish I had political power because boy oh boy, things would change drastically.
