Just to make a correction, I 25 (F) daughter of immigrant parents was born and raised here, live in the greater toronto area and wanted to mention that a lot of folks believe the ones behind the crime rise in toronto are the new immigrants. I'm sorry to break it to y'all but if you do the research a lot of the people behind the crimes are born and raised canadian idiots (they could either be white canadian or children of immigrants aka 1st generation Canadians from any country). Its a big misconception people have regarding the crimes. All they see is a non white name and assume they're an immigrants. Majority of them are actually not even immigrants. I just had to stop the video and mention that.

I'm not fed up with Immigrants for who they are but some can't drive to save their lives and are a hazard. I nearly got smoked a few times simply because the ones I mentioned cannot drive. There’s obviously actual students who come to study and provide for the community while also maintaining their own culture? What’s wrong with that? Besides, what is a Canadian culture if not a mix of immigrants from all around the world? Are white people also not just immigrants to this country or did they magically spawn in this place? They’ve committed ATROCITIES (not just in Canada), yet have the audacity to act like they’re the cleanest ones in the land. While I do agree some Indians do not improve the reputation, most are really kind, helpful and honest people. Perhaps treat everyone like humans for a change instead of using the bad ones as a benchmark. PS, cutting to the ugly streets when someone mentions Punjab is probably the cheapest attention grab, obviously there’s bad streets, ugly roads, gross people everywhere but so are beautiful ones, lovely countryside views, beautiful mountains and most of all, very hardworking and respectful people as well. Your view of Punjab is just NOT the same as the one of the people in the video who view their motherland as a beautiful place. You can portray every place in the world in that light with the wrong perspective, be it New York, Paris, Barcelona, Cairo, Sydney, Rio, London, etc, but it must be nice to get a few more looks at the expense of demeaning others.

Finally someone has covered this! This is the sad reality as to what's happening to Canada. The UK is the exact same. We are being outbred, our jobs are being taken away, and we are being overrun with them. Look at the Canadian government, that's how bad it has become. The Canadian government has become so corrupt because of this! Once they infiltrated the government, all kinds of corruption occured, their extended families were getting automatic citizenship, free healthcare, and draining the Canadian job market and healthcare benefits. One common scam they pull is that they will find a job, immediately apply for social welfare, and take time off and still get paid for months without even working. They completely abuse the system which results in actual Canadians who need social welfare benefits to not be able to gain any benefits, because of the amount of scammers that have infiltrated and colonized the country. Canada is screwed completely unless we speak up about this! There are many of us who don't like this and don't want it, but there are many Canadians who are bleeding hearts and weak who just accept it. They're going to outbreed us and eventually completely takeover and completely ruin the country. Canada is not the same place that I remember from my childhood. It has become the capitol of woke ideology, weakness, and completely overrun by Indians. Not to mention that we used to be a Christian country. We used to say Merry Christmas every year, Christian values were upheld and encouraged, now there are Mosques everywhere! There are more Mosques in Canada than Churches these days. Canada has become ruined. The worst part is, that those who come to our country don't even respect our values, traditions, or even attempt to assimilate. They expect us to conform to their ways. We can no longer be Christians because they are Anti-Christian, we can no longer speak English or French, because they hate our language. I have literally been to Toronto and Vancouver and seen the madness unfold, not an ounce of English is spoken or understood in those areas. It's either Chinese or Indian that is spoken. Usually, when you come to another country, you are supposed to conform to that country's values and traditions, not the other way around. Canada has done the complete opposite because of the bleeding hearts in charge of the country. I say screw that and no more! Make Canada Canadian Again! Keep Canada Christian!

I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. They have to speak English or French , be educated and most of all have a skill ,trade or profession that Canada needs!as Canada does not have enough highly skilled workers. Like IT professionals, doctors ,engineers, nurses etc. They have to have a job offer .etc etc .They have to have the means to support themselves and their family . It is appalling to hear this nonsense and misinformation. Secondly when talking about refugees the ones who come across the border with no documentation, come on their own and do not fall in the 3 categories you mention? How outrageous are you to say the ones coming in illegally across the border are 1 privately sponsored, 2 government sponsored 3 or mix of both! When will anyone mention that we did not need to school food programs before. Food banks were not overwhelmed and closed because no one could afford to donate, and we sure as hell didn’t have real Canadians taking from a food bank, when they knew they didn’t need it!

Humans, like any other animals, have survival instincts. Seeing a threat, would make me scared of all related things as a threat. Our prejudices develop and little few percentage in any community can make us hate the whole community. The gentleman in first half of the video mentioned “They sell among themselves and they live among themselves “, could’ve most probably come from his personal experience which might not have been the best and influenced from the dirty politics. 2nd part of the video shows two gentlemen saying “everyone is welcome”. Maybe it’s high time to break that instinct survival barrier and see if all are welcomed for the free food, belongingness and if they’re paying taxes. Also, not being unaware of the criminals that are there in every community of every society. Should they be the ones holding power to our narrative? I grew up in Brampton and I immigrated from India in the early 2000s, one thing that's not mentioned is the recent (2024) riots between Sikhs and Hindus. When I was growing up in Brampton, I had friends who were Sikhs, Pakistani Muslims, Chinese Christians, Hindus, Black, and White. The Sikh seniors used to say good morning to us on the morning walks to school and everyone got along because we accepted that bringing the racial/ethnic conflict from India to Canada was wrong. Recently, there have been tensions, fights, riots, and clashes between Hindu and Sikh Nationalists because the government is not actively filtering for quality immigrants anymore and the people being lured to this country are the ones who can't understand that this is wrong. This would have been unheard of 10 years ago.

6:35 - the woman right mentioned the state of mind and the practices of the "new immigrants". I have been living in the United States. In States where there are fewer of outsiders, they have love and respect for these communities, but travel or live in TX, CA, NJ and the likes and you see the friction - the reason we see is the new ones don't follow the laws as strictly, don't respect the local practices as simple as yielding to cars or pedestrians, queuing up in stores, etc. They don't do that in their home countries so they assume it is what they are going to do and locals who built the country with a lot of effort don't like it.

Immigration has increased because the government needs more people for the economy. The population 25+ years ago was enough to keep with the costs and demand. Now, Canada probably has a lot of demand and needs an influx of people both for education and jobs. Indians are enticed to come because they hear about towns that cater towards Indians like Brampton. Chinese people used to be the majority of immigrants and that was because Chinatowns would cater to them. Not to mention, these immigrants likely have temporary worker or student visas. These an whole thing with the student visas but I don't want to get into it. So Amazon and other large companies need a lot of workers for their demand and look outside of Canada to fill the job numbers. Meanwhile, Canadians that have been here for awhile are on the streets and jobless. So basically, Canada needs immigration for its demand but I think when too many people come all at once and from usually one country, Canadians will notice the change and feel the tensions that come with it.

For the first group of 25000 Syrian refugees, many had very large families. As mentioned in the video, $50,000 depending on the number in the family, probably 8 or more, mostly children under the age of 17? Now add on the child care benefit. For each child under the age of 6 the family gets $6400 & those over the age of 6 to 17 they get $5400. So if you had 8 kids, 4 under the age of 6 equal to $25,600 & 4 over equal $21,600 & it's all tax free. Now add on subsidized housing, free health care, the one time setup housing money & the Government covered their transportation cost to Canada. Total $97,200, most of it tax free. Canadian Immigration Consultant considers this kind of family just above the poverty line. Remember this is just a scenario, but it does show the added benefit of our wonderful child care benefit for families.

Nice vid but this is all over the country not just one city. Not once was it mentioned that Bramptonistan is almost entirely paid for the by the Region of Peel. It's almost a welfare state. As for why they let it happen because it's what they want.

I like you & your attitude about coming to Canada. I’m subscribing. I feel for the young girl looking for a job. There are tons of jobs on indeed in my city. I apply for both part & full time. I apply for at least 10-20 a day. I’m not getting calls for interviews. I’ve even applied twice to one job because I was not chosen but 2 weeks later the same position was back. I’m fortunate enough to not have to work. I have a husband that makes a very good salary that pays for all of the bills , groceries & vacations. Up until Covid collapsed my 2 franchises & I was sinking more money in than making it I had to sell one for 1/3 of what I paid for it & give the other away. I started a small business at home doing lash extensions. I have my regular clients. But if I want to save my own money it’s not sustainable or steady. I want to work because I enjoy leaving my home not to just go grocery shopping or visit family. That’s even if they are home from work. I like having a purpose. I’m skilled in accounting, cleaning, sales, marketing, customer service you name it. Many might say that I’m very lucky. I am very blessed but it’s also very lonely. Plus I have always worked & had independence. I hate asking my husband to send me money so I can pay my cell, credit card bills. I don’t even go shopping without him for new clothes because I rely on him to pay for those too. Hypothetically we broke up tomorrow I’d be screwed. I worry about if he dies. There’s life insurance but we still have a mortgage to pay & monthly bills. Plus of course I’d make sure his kids got some too. Not to mention I’ve had mental health struggles with social anxiety & agoraphobia years ago. The more I stay home the more I get anxious about going out. Days can get boring & then I find myself napping all afternoon. I need a job. I just want my own money. I don’t want to go to my husband every 3 months & ask him to send me 2000.00 to clear up my overdraft for one business day. I don’t even want to have to use it. Sorry for the rant but I feel that even when filing out applications many times I’m asked if I’m racialized. In other words is my skin brown.

One other point not mentioned that will put strain on health care and all resources is Bill C- 3 allowing children born or adopted abroad to Canadian parents to acquire citizenship .
